I remember in high school once, I had a brand new Convertible Jeep with a bunch of custom stuff on it-diamond plate-lift-winch-lights (easily recognizable), and my friend was with me and he had just gotten a a large milkshake.  Well, we saw this cyclist in his scrubs (he was a doctor) and we would always see him riding around.  So we both look at each other and we both know whats going to happen.  I speed up and he lobs that chocolate shake and nails him. Pretty amusing.

Then, about two months later I am at a stop light in my Jeep, top down, music blaring so I was unaware of anything around me.  Before the light turns green, I see a hand reach in with greenish scrubs and he grabs my wallet and then takes off and in an instant throws it in a sewer drain.  

I wasn`t even mad.  His revenge was justified.

I'm a cyclist, I'm not a douchebag that tries to challenge automobiles though. When you're on a bike (or any slow moving vehicle) you need to stay the fuck out of the way of traffic.

Another friend of mine used to ride around in his 1978 Lincoln Town Car and purposely ride close to cyclists and smack them in the back with his hand, sometimes even knocking them off their bikes.  On occasion he would hit them with his side mirrors or door.  He had a unique sense of humor.


On a side note, he once saved my life and I would be dead if it wasn`t for him.

It might be confusing for Americans, but here in Europe cyclists DO have rights and on market locations like these, cars need to stop before that area.

Its a traffic lane for cyclists. Shit stain or not. The driver encroached on it.

No different than if you were driving and another car cut you off in your lane.

As for the cyclist and car interaction, there are tons of videos out there where the cyclist kicks the drivers ass.

I cycle a lot, and drive a lot. There are great cyclists and not so great cyclists. Same with drivers.
