I don't think I mentioned it but Eddie won the lightheavyweight
Teenage USA but was beat in the overall by Franco Santoriello.
At the 1989 USA Eddie was supposed to be a heavy but barely made the
LH's going against & beating Franco towards the end of the video..
So he got his revenge & Franco got his pro card a few months later at
the Nationals. Both really good BBr's but Eddie was just freakier although
Franco had more of a classic look. They needed the 212 class back
then for guys like him. Great BB'r (Franco) but maxed out in condition around 205 pounds.
Yeah I remember that. Franco was an excellent bber also.

How do you feel about male bodybuilders doing heterosexual porn?
Perhaps not many popular names, but there are some of them whose videos you can watch for free. What's your moral stand on that, do you think it harms the image of the bodybuilding industry?

Scientific studies have shown male high school teachers find their wives
less attractive (which leads to higher divorce) because of something
called proximity effect. Being around 16-18 year old girls all the time
has that effect on many male teachers. Watching porn a couple of times a month
is probably not going to change the brain but seeing submissive hot
women all the time can have the same effect & make someone desensitized
to their significant other.
To answer your question; the powers that be want to present a wholesome,
healthy lifestyle to the masses. I'm sure the porn industry is made of many
sociopaths that use women until they are not profitable & dispose of them
probably thinking they did them a favor. I dated a stripper for 2 years &
many do drugs & alcohol just to dance...now increase that 10 fold at least.
If it was anyone well known, the IFBB would find someway to distance themselves
from them.

Regarding the 1989 USA's, if you listen to Eddie's account on the podcast interview posted last week, he says that he and Franco were talking the day before and Franco told him "You're lucky you are not in my weight class, because you would lose". Eddie then spent the next 24hrs doing whatever he could to cut weight just to get down to the light heavyweight division so he could go directly up against Franco. Obviously he succeeded and ended up beating Franco and winning the overall.

I can only imagine Franco really regretted doing it that night. I love
John Hansen's Youtube videos but I've got to check out the podcast.

Thanks for the reply but I feel I got half of what I was asking.

Perhaps there aren't many popular names in heterosexual people, but regardless of popular names the fact is that there is a considerable number of male bodybuilders who do heterosexual porn. There is constant condemnation of bodybuilders doing gay porn and gay erotica as something that harms the bodybuilding industry while male bodybuilders doing heterosexual porn goes completely ignored. What's the burden on male bodybuilders doing heterosexual porn, do they harm or dishonour the bodybuilding industry?

I think it has more to do with name recognition than whether straight or gay.
If it was someone the bodybuilding public knew, you would have a large number
of people considering it dishonoring bodybuilding...same with gay.
I think most people at Getbig wouldn't care. Probably depends too if it's a
couple that's together or someone who's doing it as a regular porn star with multiple partners.
My 2 cents & you'd probably get a better answer from someone who knows more
about that side of the industry. I know Chris Duffy did gay porn a long time ago
but I can't think of any that do straight or gay besides him.

I think there is an evident double standard in this respect.
Most bodybuilders who do gay porn or gay erotica are not famous just like those who do heterosexual porn. Names are not really relevant but the moral ground people claim when judging one while consciously turning a blind eye to the other.
