Just a phenemonon. The rules were suspended for him- at least until time made things real again. He had a great, long run. And served by being a cop.  I won't dwell on his negatives.

This is just a training video.  The guy was an Olympic weightlifter in Cuba, believe me he could bench more than a plate.  I remember see him backstage during the Mr O on Wide World of Sports when Arnold beat him.  He was pumping up doing side lateral raises.  He was throwing up 80 pounders like they were 20s.

why is mila kunis narrarating the video?

and why is it so important that the viewer takes in Sergios facial expressions at all times?  ???

In his Prime in the Late 1960s-early 70s He was as Strong as a Ox, when the injury's started coming on with age he became somewhat of a "Pumper" as seen in these clips from the Mid 80s

Quick partial reps.....he surely didn't build his mass this way.

Maybe he did. Ronnie also trained a lot in this way in one of his first videos. A recent study also shows that this training style might be the most effective:

WRONG!  Every pro bodybuilder uses shitty form.

Pro bodybuilders train sloppy with horrible form.  All the much smaller guys who use full-range controlled reps are using good form.  Just think how big someone like Ronnie Coleman could have been if he actually used good form like TA...

too bad there isn't any video clips of AJ training sergio back in the early 70's, now that would be something to see 8)

Sergio always did partials

Dips or bench press for example, he would do say 6 quarter/half reps, then 2 "full" reps, then a few more partials

He did this for everything
