What better way for Obama to reach across the isle to show he's willing to work with Republicans and heal the nation?

Agree.  He's still an American hero.  I hope he gets back to work in the Senate.  He's going to have a lot of fights over the next four years.

Not at all... I think he'd make an excellent foreign policy advisor and all around knowledge base for United States defense initiatives.
