George Zimmerman has been taken into custody in central Florida over a matter involving a gun and another person, WKMG Local 6 reports. Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, called the police and told them he was threatening her and her dad with a gun, the Associated Press tweeted.
Police said they were called because of a dispute involving Zimmerman and another person. Police are looking into "possible domestic battery" on Sprucewood Road in Lake Mary, Fla., the Orlando Sentinel's Jeff Weiner tweeted.
The incident comes days after Zimmerman's wife Shellie filed for divorce following an explosive TV interview. He was also caught speeding in recent days for the second time since his acquittal.
Zimmerman was found not guilty in July of second-degree murder for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old.

I doubt George threatened them with a gun, but they knew they could call the police on him and they would come and place him in investigative detention until they figure out what happened. This is common procedure and happens all the time. If they find nothing significant, they will release him.

His lawyer, O`Mara was with him today. Zimmerman will be fine. He is playing this very smart, waiting to cash in at some point and nobody will lay a finger on him. the court can easily require Zimm to pay spousal support and divide marital assets (whether they deem the money held in trust or proceeds of future lawsuits a marital asset is another story). I suspect if there is a potential for large money that she will get a good divorce attorney

What does he do, contacts her, from the jail. He gets violated, and more time tacked on. So, when he gets out, and the woman has moved away. What does he do? He tracked her down of course. Follow the rabbit hole on this. It could be drugs, or theft instead of assault. It doesn't matter. You'll find that certain people will either consciously or unconsciously put themselves in situations, where they are accused of certain things, even if the accusations are blown out of proportion.

Way to rush to judgement. It sounds like there was an argument as someone was moving all of their stuff out of the house. I doubt George threatened them with a gun, but they knew they could call the police on him and they would come and place him in investigative detention until they figure out what happened. This is common procedure and happens all the time. If they find nothing significant, they will release him.

Not an expert exactly. However, working as a Detention Officer, I know from experience that when you have calls on domestic violence....it usually speaks of a person's mentality and in many unfortunate cases gives a glimpse into their future.

I sincerely hope that isnt aimed towards me? I couldnt give a shit if Trayvon was an innocent kid or a gangster all i look at is the nature of the incident. What im saying is Zimmerman has killed someone, gotten away with it due to the law backing him and has followed up with a series of incidents that most people wouldnt want in the press.
IMO hes feeding his ego with his NG and using that to act in a manner which he believes makes him untouchable. FFS if u can get away with murder its obviously going to alter you.

Zimm is dangerous BUT he's also 100% legal. He knows th FL law very well. Took courses on it before all of this for her permit and with his college crim justic degree coursework.

He knows that FL law is just so wide open... it's not what you know, it's what you can prove lol.
