Nope. She hooks up with the TV host at her moms house on the down low, the husband wanders in and finds them there, and beats the wife, and plugs the tv host. He then gets his son, who was rumored to be in the house also, and takes him to another family members house for safe keeping.

Then he drives to his house and kills himself.
