I have, a lot of people played in the military play. When there is nothing to do at a military base you play games. What can I say, I am a nerd.

Me too. What's your take on the 4th edition? I haven't played in a while myself but these days a lot of people have online sessions.

Never played the board games but have played PC games that utilize D&D rules - Baldurs gate,Icewind Dale etc.

My favorite is Planescape:Torment. One of the best games of that era.

are we talking about Pen and Paper? Because that is awesome, I will absolutly push this when I have kids for them to play this (adn there are thousand of other Pen and Paper Games out there).#
Way better than having them glued to their Xbox, with Pen and Paper they are excercining their brain and Phantasy, very importantn.

I played Shadowrun p&p about 15 years ago.

I loved it, it's very good for your creativity and your brain, plus it's social.
