How much do you love your dog(s)?

Was just sitting on my bed browsing getbig and have my pup chilling on my bed with me and I realized, I actually feel a tremendous amount of love for this animal. It's somewhat weird. I have another border collie and love him as well, but something about having been around the pup since she was 5 weeks old, it's like I have really gotten attached to her...

You guys have any pets you love and aren't too pussy to talk about it? Real men have emotions, and will talk about them (with total strangers on the internet).

I also had a shot of makers mark, and am feeling pretty good! First real drink in 6 weeks. I feel great, and love my dogs.

Me and my favorite girl. Always knows how to cheer me up, when to give me space. Doesn't nag me lol. I love her very much lol.

Nah ate the rest of it on some vanilla ice cream with hershey chocolate sauce. Still 9 weeks out, last cheat day. Had to de-stress.

Yes I noticed you angling, I would tell you to grow the fuck up but if you ain't grown at 28, you never will be, and I'd rather save the energy.

But, if I MUST open up, I will. I do not have a dog, however, I have a cat. His name is Mo and I love him very much. Really one of the only TRUE friends I have. Are you happy, Mikey ?

most homeless people have some sort of pet (usually a dog), they use it to re-humanize themselves. By taking care of a pet or another living thing, they feel more "human"

I think that applies to a lot of people.

The last dog I owned was  when I was in 6Th to 7Th grade,...was a Chihuahua/pug mixed breed,...I really liked...no loved her,...and one day she disappeared.   Fast forward to a few years ago...My Mother confessed to me very matter of factly that one day when I had the flu in the 7Th grade and confined to bed,... Dad had taken that dog and dumped it some where.

This story sealed it for me, I will never have another pet.

Sorry but I can't understand how someone could actually 'love' an animal  :-\

I've never understood it. I don't like animals. They belong on Earth so I leave them be but don't want them too near. Yuck.

I also have several cats. 5 if you count the barn cats, otherwise 2.

Methyl does not equate meth, in fact it has nothing to do with it.

Have you tried agility training with them?  They LOVE it.

casey antoni going in the street and about to run over by a car she is walking with the back to the car...

a dog is walking downstairs too fast happy to go out ...car coming fast and cant see the dog...

Sleeps all day, watches T.V. all day, does not complain when ESPN is on, sleeps some more and that is about it. I would save her life over a person's life.  8)

Yeah only in America...where a guy can be associated with dog fighting and get years of his life taken away in prison. For a damn dog...

Meanwhile they do nothing to the people from other countries who live in America and are probably cooking them and eating them in their homes...

interesting thread as me and my brother were just talking about this the other day.  my dogs are like my children.  to do something to them, would be the equivalent of hurting a man's child.  it wouldn't end well.  sometimes I think it is probably a sort of weakness, the lengths that I would go to, to take care of and protect my animals, but that's just how I feel.
