I'd still work, but not so much on other's terms.

It's a good chunk, and about $4 million more than I've got, but it's not rich. You're well off.

of course everything is relative.............nat han rothschilds would not look at a guy with 1 million dollars and call him rich..........but in the grand scheme of things, having 1 million in liquid assets it pretty rich if you define that by your comparative standard of living against other people, this amount of money would allow one to live a lifestyle others would define as "privledged".............but 1 mil today is not enough to really coast on for your entire life living well, you woul dhave to either be very frugal or work to a certain extent.................. now if you have 4 million, you money at this point can really start making money, you can pretty much spend like a pig you whole lifetime, and never have to worry about it.

id buy a house, and start up some kind of business. not sure what though.... maybe somehting like buying police auction vehicles at 500 a piece and painting fixing and selling for a few g's... idk..

yeah , any thing over a mil is rich. you can retire and live a normal life with that money, but not glamorous

4 milliuon dollars would give you a salary of 11 thousand dollars a month for 30 years.

albeit every decade or so that number wouldnt be as woth as much... so by the time 20 years goes by your 11 grand is more like 6-8 grand depending.
