every 2 weeks i make between 900 dollars and 1300 dollars after taxes??

How can anyone answer this? That all depends on what someone thinks is "good".
It's easily enough to live on...that's for sure.

Gene, what is your job description?
How many hrs do you work per week?
Also depends on the cost of living where you live.
-
Good enough to open a Fidelity Magellan account and contribute regularly, do you get medical insurance?
-
Are you making ends meet and saving as much as possible ?
-
but it is enough to live check to check...but you just want a little breathing room in the form of cash, just in case "life" happens.
It used to be that people would get credit cards for that...but im not sure about those any more
-
that is a lot of money, I would start saving it, don't go overboard with buying stuff though.
-
I wouldn't get out of bed for that shit.
I bet Greg the TV repair man even makes more than you.

What if you could make that by simply staying in bed?
-

I wouldn't say I'm rich, but I'm certainly well above average for my age.
Home boys just need to take charge and take no prisoners til they are earning good coin.

Are you saying Gene is a male prostitute :o
-
Assuming you make this amount year-round, that equates to a little under $30,000 a year, which is plenty for a single individual to live off of unless you're in NYC or going to business school on your own dollar or something.
A good guideline I think is if you can save at least 10% of your paycheck every month, you're doing alright.

Well I've never been married so what do I know :) But you'd be doubling your income and probably combining some expenses, so that's good!
PTPS of your fiance if possible.

Depends on where you live, probably not as expensive as where you are (Sydney?).
-

Looks good.

Then why are you still sucking the white cock? Because you want it and money is no objection?? ???
-
Gene you should take pictures in your underware then sell the undeware online like Nasser.
-
As long as you are single you will live just fine off that.
-
you can go to salary.com, type in your age, city, experience, and what you do, and it'll tell you how you compare to the rest of your peers.
-
I believe you need to talk to the Croatian all natural PARK BOWL SCHMOE for true advice
-

YOu don't have enough in savings my friend.

You can dream I guess. Just because some freak porn star has a big cock doesn't mean your little wang can bang!
I have a huge white cock - deal with it! Don't hate me because I'm white and huge.
-

Natural plz do not do this, it is not good to compare yourself to others it will only make you feel bad, you have accomplished a lot, and have plenty of money monthly, your moving on up.
-
Just keep trying to better yourself. Do not settle and do not be lazy. Get to know people, and don't burn bridges. I am not a know-it-all but I have been with this Fortune 500 company for 24 years. I started as a service technican and now I am a corporate manager overseeing the maintenance division. Not bragging, just letting you know that things are possible by just working hard and trying not to piss people off. Be proud of what you have accomplished already.

Not necessarily an IRA, but a Fidelity Magellen account...When the stock market is low, you buy shares in a good mutual fund,...(Fidelity) Then you let it ride until the market recovers,...and it will...after that you are free to use the money without ira early withdrawl penalties...You have to be careful not to just blow the money on crap after the market recovers...
-
Are you making ends meet and saving as much as possible ?
Words of wisdom...
Without saving, you are making a big mistake. There will be nothing for us at retirement.
-
What kind of PT are you? Do you work for a gym or are you independent? For your age and occupation I think you are doing pretty good. If you are able to contributed to a savings account every payday then you are ahead of a majority of people who live pay check to pay check even though they make considerably more than you do.
-
so long as you dont want for anything, anything remotely expensive that is.
-
Take your current clients to another gym that will let train as an independant contractor, don't charge by the session or in packages, charge by the month. If charge for example $450 month and you have 15 clients, that's $6750mo or $81k per year and you work no where's near 40hrs.
-
BTW, put them on EFT as well.

Do gyms allow independent contractors? I would think it's more in their interest to have their own staff that they can fleece.
-
Independant gyms usually allow independant contractors. The gym I'm at I pay $900 for 2 trainers and have as many clients as I want.

900/ 40= 22.50 per hour. 1300 / 40= 32.50 an hour.
Not bad, not good. I have a shitty job, making $21 an hour. Every 2 weeks I'll work anywhere from 96 hours to 160 hours. Overtime flows like wine. I've cleared well over $2400 a paycheck, and this is in a country where I lose 30-45% in taxes depending on the amount. My shittiest paychecks tend to be about $1500 every 2 weeks, take home. I live in a two bedroom apartment, and drive a 1998 beater that works well. The rest goes into an investment account, my kid's RESP, life insurance, car insurance, saving's account, and bills.
It seems there is barely any time to do much more then work, work out, play with the kid and fuck the wife. I go out with the boys once a month, watch a football game and hit the strip joint. Where I live a half decent house runs you 600K+. $1300 is good for a 40 hour week, but I'd need a second job to survive on that money in general. I think in North America, anything under 70K a year and you're not living too well. Of course it depends where you live. 70K in Manhattan, or most of Cali, gets you a card board box. In some redneck county somewhere you might be able to live ok on it.
-
good post. But I think he said he makes 900-1300 every TWO weeks. Cost of living, like Cali is very high...no?

yes Natural is making that every 2 weeks, guy above is making amazing money, actually 21 dollars an hour is crazy! I can't imagine you complaining, except for the kid and the wife thing.
