I just went to Google and did an image search for "Jay Cutler". About 90% of the images shown were of the bodybuilder, not the football player.

If we are talking about the most famous Jay Cutler in North America, then the NFL star will top the list. However, on a worldwide level, I'm sure the bodybuilder would be considerably more recognisable.
In fact, I think more people in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America would recognise Jay Cutler over Tom Brady.

Jay's official facebook page has almost half a million followers. I think that makes him the most "liked" bodybuilder on facebook outside of Arnie and Ronnie.

Cutler is one of the more famous BB. Most guys I know that have a faint interest in BB know who he is and he's popular in expos. Obviously not on Arnie's level but in more recent times, probably third only behind Coleman and possibly Dorian for name recognition.

Having tried a few other battles on that, I don't think it is a good indication on worldwide recognition/popularity. It just says which has more google search results. An NFL player is bound to have that over a bodybuilder.
 
My point is that more people around the world would identify Jay Cutler the bodybuilder than Jay Cutler the NFL star from a photograph or by name dropping.
