I detest Bernie and his ilk.

It's a fundamental change within the Democratic party.

The alternative media is now more powerful than the traditional mainstream media.

The Old Guard simply cannot control the narrative anymore and I do not believe they have fully come to grips with that.

Now you have the AOC's and The Squad in power and the Cenk Uygur types knocking on the door looking to add to their political movement.

It's a completely different landscape from even 4 years ago.

TheGrinch, I really am tired of you moping around this forum with your defeatist, blackpill nonsense.

We have all seen your track record, you "settled" and predicted Hillary would win a few short days before the election. Just zero courage on your behalf. Taking the cozy, widely accepted, easy way out.

Meanwhile I was a champion. One of the first in the world to predict a Trump victory.

I want you to get excited about your life!

Pick up that dumbell.

Approach that gal who gives you those nice little tingles.

Step up to that boss and demand that promotion!

Other than that my dude, all I can say is it is painful to read your posts.

I bet you even hate ice cream or a nice sunny day don't you??

When will you sheep learn that the election is rigged, the POTUS has already been chosen and your "election' is a farce.

A win for Bernie in his eyes would be debating Trump about the great benefits of socialism. Win or lose it moves his agenda forward, he's not a democrat.

Bloomberg referred to trans-women as ‘it’ and ‘some guy in a dress’ (billionaire nerd strikes again)
nypost.com ^ | 2/18/20 | Vincent Barone
Posted on 2/19/2020, 6:45:21 AM by Liz

After a campaign ad touted the ex-NYC mayor as “incredibly sensitive” to the LGBTQ community, a video resurfaced of Bloomberg referring to transgender people as “he, she or it” and “some guy in a dress” — the second time he’s been caught making such comments.

Bloomberg used the language to warn 2020 Democratic hopefuls against stressing transgender issues, arguing that they wouldn’t play well in middle America.

“If your conversation during a presidential election is about some guy wearing a dress and whether he, she, or it can go to the locker room with their daughter, that’s not a winning formula for most people,” he said at a Manhattan forum hosted by the Bermuda Development Agency. He delivered a similar remark about a “man wearing a dress” while making the same point at Oxford in 2016.

Despite the flippant language, his spokesperson said the candidate stands behind transgender rights and “understands the transgender community has been under attack for decades and the advance of rights has not been equal."

In April 2002, during his first year as mayor, Mike signed a sweeping transgender civil rights bill into law,” the spokesperson told the outlet. “His company provides comprehensive health care coverage for his transgender employees......adding, “as president, he has a comprehensive plan to secure rights for transgender Americans, including the Equality Act, ensuring transgender people have access to affirming health care, and working to end the crisis of violence against transgender women.”

Revolutionary Bernie Sanders
Townhall.com ^ | February 29, 2020 | John Stossel
Posted on 2/19/2020, 7:20:30 AM by Kaslin

Bernie Sanders leads the race for the Democratic nomination.

He may become America's first self-described "democratic socialist" president.

What does that mean?

Today, when Sanders talks about socialism, he says: "I'm not looking at Cuba. I'm looking at countries like Denmark and Sweden."

But Denmark and Sweden are not socialist. Denmark's prime minister even came to America to refute Sanders' claims, pointing out that "Denmark is far from a socialist planned economy."

Both Denmark and Sweden do give citizens government-run health care and have bigger welfare programs than America has. However, recently, they've moved away from socialism. Because their socialist policies killed economic growth, they cut regulations and ended government control of many industries.

Sanders probably doesn't know that. He, like many young people, just loves the idea of socialism.

For my new video this week, Stossel TV producer Maxim Lott went through hours of Sanders' old speeches. What he found reveals a lot about what Sanders believes.

When Sanders was mayor of Burlington, Vermont, he went out of his way to defend Fidel Castro. "He educated the kids, gave them health care, totally transformed the society!" Fortunately, Sanders added, "Not to say Fidel Castro or Cuba are perfect."

No, they are not perfect. Castro's government tortured and murdered thousands. By confiscating private property, they destroyed the island's economy. Life got bad enough that thousands died trying to escape.

Even now in Cuba, most people try to live on less than $2 a day.

Sanders focuses on other things, like: "They did a lot to eliminate illiteracy!"

Sanders has long had a soft spot for socialist countries. He chose to honeymoon in Communist Russia, where he said people "seem reasonably happy and content." He was "extremely impressed by their public transportation system... cleanest, most effective mass transit system I've ever seen in my life!"

He praised Soviet youth programs: "Cultural programs go far beyond what we do in this country."

He did at least qualify his support, calling the Soviet government "authoritarian."

But Sanders made no such criticism after Nicaragua's socialist revolution. He praised the Sandinistas' land "reform" because they were "giving, for the first time in their lives, real land to farmers so that they can have something that they grow. Nobody denies that they are making significant progress."

Former landowners sure denied it. They'd had their land stolen. Sanders suggested that was OK because landowners are rich.

"Rich people, who used to have a good life there, are not terribly happy," he said. "As a socialist, the word socialism does not frighten me... (P)oor people respect that."

What about the hunger and poverty that socialism creates? Bernie had an odd take on that.

"American journalists talk about how bad a country is because people are lining up for food. That's a good thing! In other countries people don't line up for food; the rich get the food and the poor starve."

After he said he was "impressed" by Sandinista leaders, Sanders added, "Obviously I will be attacked by every editorial writer in the free press for being a dumb dupe."

I join them.

Bernie Sanders is indeed a "dumb dupe" about economics. Or as the Soviet Communists used to put it, "a useful idiot."

Under Ortega's rule, Nicaragua quickly fell further into poverty, and the socialists were voted out in 1990. Ortega later returned as a violent dictator. For most people in Nicaragua, Cuba and other centrally planned economies, life is hell.

Once Sanders was elected to Congress, he mostly stopped praising violent socialist revolutions.

At that time, Communist governments in Europe were collapsing. It was convenient for embarrassed former supporters of those governments to rebrand themselves.

In Congress, Sanders would call himself an independent and, in the estimation of his fellow Vermonter, former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean, he "votes with the Democrats 98% of the time."

But Sanders has never taken back the enthusiastic praise he gave to socialist regimes.

Bloomberg Is Now ‘Highest Spending Presidential Candidate of All Time’
NewsBusters ^ | 2/19/2020 | Joseph Vazquez

Liberal billionaire 2020 presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg is willing to spend $2 billion to defeat President Donald Trump, and he continues to put his money where his mouth is. Advertising Analytics, which provides information on advertising spending, said in a tweet that “@MikeBloomberg is the highest spending presidential candidate of all time.” Bloomberg has apparently spent a jaw-dropping “$338.7M on traditional media, surpassing @BarackObama's 2012 record of $338.3M,” Advertising Analytics said Feb. 18.

Buttigieg on Whether Private Insurance Remains Intact Under His Plan: ‘To Be Honest, I Don’t Care’

"I don’t care.”

The fate of 150 million Americans’ insurance plans doesn’t matter to Mayor Pete Buttigieg, the 2020 candidate said Tuesday.

Appearing at a campaign event Tuesday in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mayor Pete appeared dismissive of Americans’ concerns that a universal health-care plan will mean the end of private insurance plans they prefer over a government run program.

Funny how much things have changed in 5-10 years. These old people are scrambling to keep up. Bloomberg might go broke paying for his "apologies".

Unbelievable the way Biden has collapsed. Seems like the DNC knew this ahead of time too. That’s why they were so willing to throw him under the bus during the hearings.

That was a tip off that his campaign was on shaky ground.

Regarding Bloomberg, he was just a shiny new toy but now you’re starting to see the cracks. Sure he’s got a shit load of money but he has no base and no enthusiasm and the left wing of the Democratic Party, which is currently steering the boat, hates him.

‘What the hell’s the matter with your campaign?’
Politico ^ | 02/18/2020 05:24 AM EST | MARC CAPUTO

LAS VEGAS — The crowds remain small. The message is the same. The schedule is still light.

Joe Biden is campaigning in Nevada in much the same way he did in Iowa and New Hampshire, where he suffered back-to-back losses that transformed him from frontrunner to underdog.

It’s a testament to the campaign’s sense of confidence — or its state of denial — that it continues to operate as if Nevada, the first diverse state to vote this year, will be different for Biden than the two heavily white states where he was crushed.

One advantage here is that African American voters, who could account for about 13 percent of caucusgoers by Feb. 22, favor the well-known former vice president who served under the nation’s first black president. Biden’s also counting on carrying a significant share of Latino voters — who are an estimated 20 percent of caucusgoers— and moderate whites.

“He has a lot of support among seniors, among people who don’t go to rallies,” said Rep. Steven Horsford, Nevada’s first black congressman who has been close by Biden ever since endorsing the candidate when he arrived Friday night.

Horsford’s endorsement was followed Sunday by the state’s lieutenant governor, Kate Marshall. Along with Rep. Dina Titus, who endorsed months ago, they form a triumvirate of top establishment Biden backers in the state that no candidate has matched. In all, the campaign counts 106 Nevada endorsements and landed an unexpected one Monday: Cher.

The big-name endorsement rollouts have been a staple of his campaign, which continues to hew to the same path. There’s been no major staff shake-up or attempts to load his calendar with additional events. While Biden had a busy weekend campaigning here, with the caucuses just days away Biden had only one stop in Reno on Monday and one scheduled around Las Vegas on Tuesday.

At his Reno event, a voter was puzzled by Biden’s predicament, noting “you’re smart, you’re well educated, you’re experienced, you’ve got class, and you’ve got character ... If you get the nomination in November, it’ll be Mr. Rogers versus Darth Vader. What the heck is going on here?”

“Well, that's a good question,” Biden replied as the crowd laughed. “He complimented me very highly, and then said, ‘What the hell's the matter with your campaign?’ That's a good question. No, no, it's a legitimate question.”

Biden didn’t answer, however.

Joe Biden unloaded on Democratic presidential rival Mike Bloomberg on Wednesday after the former New York City mayor released campaign ads seeking to tie himself to former President Obama.

Biden, who has repeatedly underscored his time serving as Obama’s vice president, hinted he would bring up Bloomberg’s past criticism of Obama when the two Democratic candidates meet in Las Vegas for Wednesday's primary debate.

“Welcome to the debates, Mike. We have a lot to catch up on about Barack Obama’s record,” Biden tweeted.

CNN’s Van Jones Buries Bloomberg for ‘Disaster’ Debate: ‘Titanic, Meet Iceberg… Tone Deaf on Issue After Issue’
mediaite.com ^ | Feb 19th, 2020
Posted on 2/19/2020, 11:33:33 PM by Helicondelta

Right after tonight’s big Democratic debate, there was a general consensus on CNN that it went very badly for Michael Bloomberg.

Van Jones put things the most succinctly when he said it was a “disaster” for the former New York mayor:

“Bloomberg went in as the titanic — billion-dollar-machine titanic. Titanic, meet iceberg Elizabeth Warren. She took him to task in a way that I’ve never seen in a debate. She took it over, she prosecuted him. But the worst part about it is for me a lot of African-Americans are placing great hope in Bloomberg, despite the stop and frisk… you’re seeing people trying to move over there, and he just wasn’t ready. He was tone-deaf on issue after issue, and the reason why — he’s not beenin those living rooms, he hasn’t been doing those town halls.”

“His answer on women was terrible, he got destroyed on the NDA question, his answer on stop and frisk was as bad as it could possibly be, and then he basically lied on his answer when it came to redlining,” Jones continued. “He let people down tonight.”

You Bernie Suckers Are Going to Get Fooled Again
Townhall.com ^ | February 20, 2020 | Kurt Schlichter
Posted on 2/20/2020, 6:26:30 AM

If you are dumb enough to slobber over a socialist then you’re already inclined toward being a hapless mark, so it should be no surprise that you Bernie dorks are about to get screwed over again by the Democratic Party. Here’s how it’s going to go: Because you are stupid – you support a socialist, so you are presumptively stupid – you think that if you work really hard and win the votes the establishment creeps who own the Democratic Party are going to let you have a say. But, like last time, you won’t get a say. You’ll work real hard – maybe if you worked really hard at actual jobs you wouldn’t be half-wit socialists – and you’ll win the votes, and all your dreams will die as you end up with the nomination going to a malignant midget multi-zillionaire.

I don’t know exactly how they are going to do it – more convenient caucus kerfuffles, super-delegates, shenanigans at the convention – but there is no way your masters will ever let you win. Like I said, you’re socialists, and therefore stupid, so you will get cheated and you will end up having to vote for the Verne Troyer of American big-money politics.

And, like the obedient saps you are, you’ll do it.

Now, at this point, you probably have some complaints about this column. By complaining, you can temporarily distract from the indisputable fact that your own foolishness has put you in the position of being crushingly humiliated by the Democratic elite once again. Let me briefly address your whiny protests.

Yes, I say “socialist” like it’s a bad thing. This is because it’s a very bad thing. Like, to the tune of 100 million corpses bad thing. I’ve actually lived in the ruins of socialism and you, well, you had a man-bunned sociology TA tell you it was swell. And you believed him because you are a dupe. Be glad that I am assuming that you are stupid instead of the only other reason one would ever cavort with these blood-stained goblins: that you are evil.

But he’s a “democratic socialist,” you interject, because you are stupid. Would you feel fine with a “democratic Nazi?” Actually, you probably would, since Nazis are just a genre of socialist with white and black added to the color palette.

Then you’ll claim that the Box Boy won’t be the nominee, no, one of the other pouty posse will get it. Maybe Biden will. You totally want to vote for a guy who thinks his powder-diving, dancer-diddling loser son should totally be getting $83K a month. Man, if you got money like that you could move out of your parents’ place! Or maybe Audie Buttigieg – he seems plausible. No, I’m not laughing! And then there’s Big Chief Sanders Lite. Maybe she could get elected. Really, I’m not laughing. Okay, then Amy Klobuchar – no, I’m not laughing, I’m just scratching my head wondering why she is even still in. Face it. The only viable option besides Vermont Stalin is Scrooge McSuck.

And your next protest will be that Donald Trump is worse than Mini Mike. In fact, you’ll say, Trump is like Hitler combined with…well, Hitler is the only dictator you don’t like, so we’ll just stick with “He’s literally Hitler for real!” Again, you have been suckered. If you were actually raging against the machine rather than aspiring to be a cog in it, you would back him. Now, you may not like it, and you may be too dumb to see it, but Trump is the only disruptor of the establishment in this race. Short Stuff’s gnome-ination is designed to re-establish the establishment. And mark my words: you’ll help him do it.

Yeah, I bet Wall Street is quivering in its collective Guccis over the muffled pitter-patter of the tiny little footsteps of the approaching Bloomberg administration. Bloomberg is not just an eager supporter of the globalist vision but a leading advocate, the Dwarf King of Davos. Trump, not so much. But you’ve been told to hate Trump, and like obedient little ants, you hate him.

In fact, you hate Trump so much that you will vote for the polar opposite of your crusty commie hero even after your preference has been torn from your soft little hands yet again. If you wanted to burn down the system, Trump would be your man. But you don’t...not really. You just want some scraps, like getting out of your loans or making other people pay for your doctor and you’ll be happy. That’s why you’ll give your general election vote to the Stop ‘N Frisk Doughboy even as you assure yourself that the guy who got minority unemployment to record lows is the big, bad racist in this race.

You’ve been had. You’ll cry, but you’ll still go along with the scam as this all plays out.

Suddenly, the media will turn on the Bern in a coordinated attack. Oh wait, that’s happening. Then Frodo Moneybags will start buying off individuals and liberal groups. Oh wait, that’s happening too. Crusty has-been Sam Donaldson decided to show off his new blonde rug during his endorsement; so many more are coming. And I bet it’s not his cash but the power of Mikey’s ideas…okay, now I am laughing.

There will be more primary and caucus “surprises,” except the only people who will be surprised are you suckers. If it gets as far as the convention, your masters will adjourn to the un-smoke-filled rooms and decide for you who you will vote for. And you’ll whine and winge and ultimately obey like the good little suckers you are.

See, you bought into the idea that another four years of prosperity and peace under Donald Trump is much, much worse than reinstalling the party apparatus that has screwed you over in the last two cycles. You’ll ignore the economy, the lack of new wars, the trade rebalancing, and all the other stuff and instead focus on what your masters have commanded you to focus on: that Trump tweeted something mean. Oh, and Russians.

And here’s why you will let the Democrat puppetmasters succeed. It’s because you are stupid. Now, you could stop being stupid. You could refuse to play along. You could even insist Bernie run as a third-party candidate. I like that because it guarantees Trump II: Fossil-Fuel Generated Electric Boogaloo. But it would serve your interests too by forcing the party to recognize and respect you instead of assuming you’ll fall into line once again. But you won’t. You’re all talk and no revolution. Take off that Che t-shirt and put on one with Mini Mayor’s pouty little mug on it. He’s your man. You’re all Bloomberg Bros. Just give it time.

You’re saps, and you’ll take whatever you’re given and tell yourself you like it.

Morning Greatness: Billion Dollar Bloomberg Takes a Beating in Democrat Debate

A fake Indian, a gay guy, a old guy who had heart attack four months ago, a verbally abusive Senator, a confused former Vice President, and a super duper rich gun grabber walk into a debate auditorium…

There was a debate showcasing the Democrats’ presidential wannabees last night. I watched it because I wanted to see how the candidates handled Mike Bloomberg, a new contestant in the presidential sweepstakes. Prior to the debate last night, Bloomberg had avoided public appearances in favor of buying tons of media, paying for influencers to gush over him and otherwise spending his treasure chest to get the nomination. At the debate last night, Bloomberg had to answer questions and face his opponents and his opponents were out for blood because they had actually worked for their votes and support. Generally speaking, people don’t like it when they feel cheated out their hard work. The irony is lost on the Democrats, I am sure.

Now remember, the corporate media and desperate Democrats were propping up Bloomberg as the one candidate who is viable (not a stark raving progressive) who can presumably beat Trump. Bloomberg was the darling, the special one, the favorite. And then the debate happened.

To say Bloomberg tanked is an understatement, he was unprepared for the most obvious attacks against him. It was pathetic.

Sick burn. Bloomberg was caught off guard. Here is how I would have responded: Senator Warren, would you support voiding the NDAs signed by capitol hill staffers who were paid off after being harassed or abused by their employers who are elected office holders? At the very least, would you support releasing the names of the elected officials who victimized staffers at the tax payers’ expense? Yeah, I thought so.

I think the “winner” if there is one, was Elizabeth Warren. She came out fighting and she came off looking very tight. Biden is the other loser after Bloomberg. He has to be finished soon. His performance was “meh”and he needed more than that to show he is viable. Consider how popular Obama was/is. How can Obama’s partner be doing so poorly? Put a fork in him.

As for the substance of the debate, it was business as usual: expensive social programs, open borders, free health care and climate pablum. Lather, rinse, repeat. The caucus in Nevada is coming up this Saturday and Bernie is leading the pack. Who will survive the Nevada caucus?

President Trump blasted Mike Bloomberg’s debate performance early Friday morning, calling the former New York City mayor’s showing “perhaps the worst in the history of debates.”

Trump made his criticism on Twitter, hours after Bloomberg was used for target practice by his competitors on the debate stage in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Mini Mike Bloomberg’s debate performance tonight was perhaps the worst in the history of debates, and there have been some really bad ones,” Trump wrote in his tweet.
