Wow,
Wigs certainly have come a long way. These new "Hair Systems" which attach to the scalp with glue and tape look phenomenal. They need to be re-attached every 3 weeks and you can shower, hit the gym etc and they'll stay in place.
Literally turning hideous monsters into handsome models! Hair is everything for some guys!

EDIT: one more thing while I'm at it--what's up with the guys who are "horseshoe bald" and keep that "Bozo roll"....what is that?!
especially the young guys who keep that patch of hair...why?...I don't care if you have a misshaped head...anything looks better than the "Hulk Hogan"

the best thing you can do without taking pills is a combination of rogaine and nizoral shampoo
wash hair with nizoral (Ketoconazole) keep in hair for 5-10 minutes then rinse out at the end 5-7x a week. over the counter you can only get 1% strength and need an RX for 2%
rogaine 2x a day (use the foam) into damp or dry hair
best over the counter methods and you gotta start the minute you feel/see hairloss

Using hair from the side and lower back of your head which is prone to hair loss for the majority and dht doesn't affect those hair follicles

I'm holding out for stem cell follicular replacement until I do anything about my baldness.
Pisses me off being bald, but I know if I still had a full head of hair there's a 99% chance I'd still have a shaven head due to the convenience.

When I noticed my hair at the front thinning, I went on Finasteride and Nizoral shampoo, and it pretty much stopped it completely.

but the bald look is not as attractive on a white guy. brothas look just as good bald as with hair - but us gringos having hair is a huge plus.

Mine is thinning a lot, not completely bald (cross my fingers), but at my 49 years of age, This is my method to cover up those "Undesirable" areas and it does the job pretty good and inexpensively!

ok - i am not a dermatologist so i am gonna free ball it here - there are several studies that back this up too
Nizoral is mainly for dandruff since it contains ketoconazole. Ketoconazole is used to treat certain serious fungal infections in the body. (its decent for clearing up acne too) if your acne is more fungal/bacteria based than hormonal acne.
how does nizoral stop/fight hairloss?
ketoconazole is focused on controlling microflora on the scalp. This is essentially an antifungal treatment, which some studies claim slows down hair loss. Ketoconazole in shampoos primary use is to eliminate scalp conditions such as dandruff. It does this by killing fungi and yeasts that grow on the scalp through interfering with their cell membranes. Ketoconazole stops the fungi from producing ergosterol, which cell membranes need to survive. It is marketed as an antifungal pill for people with dandruff or a skin condition. However, this is not its only use. Ketoconazole for hair loss is an effective way to treat scalp DHT.

bro science - how to apply it and how to use it.
1. when you shower - put in your hair and leave it in there for 8-10 minutes (wet hair, rub nizoral in hair, then leave on while you go through your routine) wash it out last - brush your teeth in shower etc to get to that 8-10 minutes. do it 5x a week ideally. start with 1% ketoconazole which is OTC. if needed go to 2% but requires an RX or you can buy it from overseas
2. after your shower and your hair is damp, use rogaine (foam) use it 2x a day
nizoral and rogaine combo is the best hair combination you can get without pills or harsh side effects.
some ppl claim rogaine stops collagen growth and can age your face...well just use a good moisturizer and supplement with omega 3,6, 9 and all dudes should take a collagen supplement regardless
so rogaine + dandruff shampoo (ketoconazole 1%) + omega 3, 6, 9 and collagen supplement your hair and skin should be pretty solid.
also use sun screen everyday too. i live in phoenix, AZ and the sun is brutal here

Dunno why men get upset about losing hair. I shaved mine since I was a teen in preparation, i knew I'd go bald pretty early. Now I wish I could put something on it to stop it all growing round the sides and what's left on top. 100 percent easier not having hair

No. I don't really like taking any drugs and that one definitely has side effects. I don't really use a shampoo, I did for a while but really didn't notice anything.
The hair transplants are permanent, hair taken from areas you will not lose it in and transplanted elsewhere. Only so much they can do each time, I've had about 7500 grafts transplanted over 3 operations.
Originally did it because I lost my hair young, sped up due to roid use but looking at it realistically it was always going to go. My younger brother lost a lot by 20 and doesn't lift/use roids. I didn't really notice it badly until i'd been completely clean at 24 about 8 weeks after going off. I'm 37 now my hair would have fallen out by now steroid use or not or at least i'd have lost a lot. Maybe losing it young made me do something about it that I wouldn't have later on.
I had the last one about 4 months ago and really can notice the difference to thickness now. Did the top of the crown as well which is good but need to go back later this year or next year and do the crown again to fill it all in. Last two done in Thailand, very high quality.
Wigs to me look stupid and too much care is required. I have no extra care to do, it just takes a while after an operation to achieve the finished look like 12-18 months but each time I've had a lot happen in the first 4-6 months.

No problem at all, it's just that from watching him on Seinfeld over the years we know that's not his hair. Other than that I wouldn't realize that was a piece if he walked by me on the street but other people on this board have a more scrutinizing eye when it comes to hair

It's been well known that Stallone and Arnold have had hair transplants, they don't wear wigs, same with Matthew mcconauhey and a lot of celebs
