Bob Chicherillo 1990 Nationals as a lightheavy weight

Been digging through some old videotapes and found this little nugget to upload to YouTube:


I think the Nationals were drug tested that year so that might be why he dropped to the lightheavy class.  Chick, care to elaborate on this show?

Yes, the show was drug tested...and I competed drug free.

I was competing as a heavyweight at around 210, so dropping to a lightheavy at 198 seemed like a good idea and wasn't a problem...unfortunately, all I could muster was a 5th place finish.

shit, i'm 5'11, 198 now.

if that's what i'm supposed to look like, (with abs), i'm guessing my lean body mass is 38 lbs.

Bob, I've commented about how bloated and bad you looked in a recent post when you were training with someone.

I didn't just pass the test, I was drug free for a year as many athletes were given the opportunity to have a test done about 9months out, to see if our levels were under the accepted ratio...

Some drugs dont clear in 9 months.....define accepted ratio....and they told you when they will do the test...oh please... ::)

Wait a minute, Bob, this means that you outweighed Adonis by about 50 lbs...therefore you must be lying.  You were all drugs then, right?   ;D

You're right some drugs DONT clear the system in 9 months...thus the pre test 9 months out.

How would I know what the "accepted ratio" was..it' was the same as whatever the IOC test is/was...

Yeah, they told us when they would do the test....AT THE SHOW.

Knowing when a drug test gonna happen make it useless,you can prepare yourself for it and pass it easily.

most guys woulda just dropped oils and high androgens but added a bunch of other ''stuff''...

Have you gotten a recent detailed checkup to your heart? Do you have left ventricle hypertrophy?
