Title: Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX): Impeachment 'A Possibility' If Obama Moves Ahead On Immi
Post by: 240 is Back on November 10, 2014, 08:04:55 PM
The base wants it.   Tea party wants it.  You know who doesnt want it?  The RINOs that brought us Mccain and Romney.

IMO, listening to them gave us 2 terms of obama.    Think about that.

Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX) said on Monday that impeaching President Obama "would be a consideration" if he moves forward unilaterally on immigration.

Barton's comments were made during an interview with former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ), who now hosts NewsMaxTV's right wing program "America's Forum."

Barton was asked about the possibility that Obama could take executive action to slow deportations.

“Well impeachment is indicting in the House and that’s a possibility. But you still have to convict in the Senate and that takes a two-thirds vote," Barton said. "But impeachment would be a consideration, yes sir."

Actually, all of you people who voted for Obama "gave us 2 terms of obama."  Think about that.

Right?  No, 67 Senators are not going to remove Obama from office, which would give us President Biden.  How stupid is that?

at the very least, pres. biden would be interested in re-election and would schwerve right very quickly to remain in office past 729 days.  At the very least, biden would be less powerful than obama in that he's just not as smart.

apply your logic to everything else in life.  Why lock up murderers?  surely another murderer will just take his spot.  Why even  bother wiping our asses?  Surely we're going to have to crap again later.

???

I'm applying logic.  You are not.

And you know good and well you don't want the man you voted and have been cheerleading for to be impeached and removed from office.

No, there are not 67 Senators who would vote for removal.

Sometimes the jury isn't perfect, but you sure put the killer on trial anyway.   imagine "oh, we'll never win the case here, let's just let the dude go!"

You may not win impeachment.  Or, maybe 12 of 15 of those weak-willed dems will change position (once the population sees F&F crime scene photos and obama plummet to 22% approval).

You can sit there and say, absolutely, how congress will behave?  HA!  Sorry, but they're a sniveling bunch and obama is a lame duck.  There's a chance they do vote his ass out, if only to keep their jobs.

Beach bum, stop being fcking soft on obama here.  Whatever statements form the past - it's Nov 2014, and 240 wants obama impeached, and you're cool with giving him another 729 days in congress.   That's where we are, today.

Ah shut up with the impeachment talk.  You voted for Obama.  Your whole family voted for him (as you said on this board).  You kneepad for him.  You don't want him impeached.  He's not going to be impeached.

Aside from the fact it would be futile, it would create a circus environment that would give Hillary a platform to run on.  Would also be an enormous waste of taxpayer money.

I consider justice and stopping obama on amnesty to be more important than the cost of a hearing.

Congress will get paid either way.  They'll be passing garbage for obama to veto, they'll be attacking baseball players for roids or NFL teams to change their name.

WHy not have them spend a few weeks removing a criminal/

Beach bum/dos equis... it's nov 2014... obama will be in office until Jan 2017.   At some point in our conversation, YOU start to become the fcking liberal.  I'm demanding impeachement, you're demanding 728 more days of Obama reign.  You can drudge up 2007 quotes all you want, but if there was a national referendum vote on impeachement toay, and I'm voting YES and you're voting NO...

Well, you're the liberal now, keeping the liberal despot obama in office, while I want him out of office thru impeachment.

You're the liberal now.  It's not 2007 on a message board.  It's Nov 2014 and you are soft on crime, soft on libs.   :(

No, I don't see amnesty as inevitable if Obama loses and/or there is turnover in the House or Senate.

There WAS turnover in house in senate.  And yet, we are still going to see amnesty, aren't we?

Good.  There should be a bright-line rule:  you want to be a citizen you comply with the law.  Forget that amnesty crap.

I LOVE IT.   Awesome quote, beach bum.  I totally agree with you.

Dude, I used to think amnesty was inevitable, I used to just want to give up and be a punk bitch and say "oh, we can never beat it, let's just surrender".

Then I was inspired to no longer be a sissy wimp punk... then I was inspired by the likes of Cruz and I very much believe we can stop amnesty.

It's totally cool to have moments of doubt, when you feel like the powerful obama can drill you in the ass with any executive order he wants, and you just have to watch the clock and say "oh, the anal rape can only last for 726 more days, it'll fly by..."

Or, you can take that penis from your buttocks, and you can call your congressman and demand impeachment.  You can do it, BB.

there is hope.   i still think this can be stopped.   pull the congressional budget IMMEDIATELY, take away all $ from obama if he starts this.  and impeach, by golly.

As msnbc's lawrence odonnell said - obama cannot create a new class of protected workers, legally, just because he feels like it.   dems don't want to address that.

So I probably will vote dem.  i'd love to see Obama choose a Wes Clark for a running mate, or a Jim Webb, possibly more likely, for strong military and defense credibility.

My position hasn't changed.  But you?  You are a chronic liar.  You put your finger in the wind and say what you think people want to hear.  That's why you don't know whether you are a libertarian, a registered independent, a Republican, or an Obama voter. (You're actually just a liberal.)

I AM a republican.  I voted for both Bush's and one Dole in the presidential elections, so it really has taken a lot for me to admit my party currently has messed things up bigtime.  I've voted repub my entire life, but YOU have the audacity to say I'm not one, because I don't back the current hijacking of the party?  Sounds like you don't understand the tenets of the party.  When I was running mock school debates in the 8th grade (Bush vs Dukakis), you were prob still in training pants :)  SO I know my party.  And Bush isn't it :(
