It'd be hilarious if one of them just knocked the dude out.

Body weight exercises are no joke if you push yourself. Any elite military or elite police will tell you basics like running, body weight exercise, wrestling and striking give a killer workout. Bodybuilding fans have to think outside the box.

Correct. Depends on your goals. If you just want to be big or compete, thats one thing. But if you want to be quick, dangerous, or just in shape, bodybuilding is the wrong choice.

lol

He makes it look all so easy. I'm sitting here thinking "Meh - I could do that".
I'd probably wind up in emergency if I tried.
-
Ripped and strong dude, but seems a bit slow.
Took him an hour to say "we're going to take it to the next level"
-
He probably didn't start playing monkey on racks in the playground because he was the smartest cookie in the box.

Haha good observation Moen

Good, strong looking physique to be sure. However, what he is doing is old fashion resistance training. I'd say he's fairly light which is why it's harder for some of the other big guys like Overeem to do that stuff. He's mastered his bodyweight and its very impressive, but not unattainable if that's how you train. You can still attain that shape through a bodybuilding workout, however.
Strength training with weights>>>*.

As usual ;)

Whats the point in this? maybe if you want to be a gymnast , but it certainly wont make you a better fighter ::)
-
If you put that black dude on a good cycle he could create problems in bodybuilding.
-
the big horse meat eating goofball alistar has nothing without his mega doses of steroids

He says that he's been doing it for 16 yrs, so he's gonna make it look easy.
I think that a hybrid version of what he does, where you incorporate weight training could be the best.
Thing is, he shows you that you don't really need weights or go to a gym to get a great physique. You can go to the playground, or if you have a floor and walls, you can still workout, so there is no excuse for anyone to be out of shape.

Cute, but can Hannibal do this?

Not one single exercise for his lower body.
Fantastic upper body workout for sure but I am willing to bet he has tiny bird legs which makes some of that alot easier. Any guy with decent sized legs will have problems with some of those exercises.
-
Jesus. Thats my gym. Glad my goofy ass didn't get caught on camera in the background.

be interesting to see what his diet is like...

He probably could, it probably wouldn't take him that long to learn, either. Remember the dude has excellent body control, but he is no gymnast. Just a dude who has been training with bodyweight excerises for a long time.

bs has said thar he has a crappy diet.

no he can't do a Maltese, he's not on YVG's level:
there's plenty of Russian kids that grew up on gymnastics who are stronger than him too:
It's interesting to see though how weak the upper bodies are of these UFC champs. As far as legs, most of these guys including olympic ringsmen and world class climbers let them go untrained to avoid having to drag around the weight. personally I prefer to work the body in a balanced manner but I still get inspired by the strength of these upper body specialists.
To others comments, yes i think weights, and even cables and machines are just as important as bodyweight as they let you train in higher rep ranges than bodyweight and to work the body through more planes and fuller ranges of motion.

ok i understand where your coming from..( BUT ) look at it this way
he makes the rest look like shittttttt ;)

I don't think weak is the right word. They may not be able to handle their bodyweight like the smaller guys do, but they're probably much stronger.
I've known a couple guys that were 160-170 pounds, one that could grab a light pole and hold himself straight out at a 90* angle. But the same dude couldn't move any sort of weight for shit. Couldn't buck a hay bail, couldn't help move anything heavy, couldn't help move furniture.
He was great at moving his 160 pounds, but he was fucking worthless in a real world setting, he was weak as shit.

Actually, if you look at his calves, he has a decent pair, seemingly better than some Pro bbers, especially Dennis Wolf.

Whats the point in this? maybe if you want to be a gymnast , but it certainly wont make you a better fighter ::)
I don't know man. That kind of core strength in the cage could get you out of a lot of trouble on the ground.
-
Very impressive. That type of training requires a lot of strenght and body functionality. Dudes got a mad pussy pulling phyisque as well. Id love to look like that, minus the obvious steroids though... But very nice none the less.

Rasheem Edwards is after that core strength to utilize in the cage.

if hannibal is so great then why is he bald
hannibal refuses to accept his hair loss and feels its a fair trade to shorten his life span in order to be leaner eating meat
if you loose all your fucking hair something must be seriously going wrong inside of you
-
someone needs to inform hannibal that his kidneys are failing and thats why hes bald
-
Rashmaninoff Jenkins invited Hannibal to be able to soak some ideas for his trainingcamps, use what is useful.
Clearly some of his exercises were an inspiration for many of them.
