Thoughts on Quantum of Solace...no spoiler, but a review

  Just saw it, would give it 3 out of 4 stars.  Bond is less Bond like, less charming, no Bond lines('Bond, James Bond), but makes up for it with extreme ass kicking.  Best action scenes I've ever seen in a Bond movie-jumped several times, which I've never done in a Bond film.  Two Bond girls are knockouts, one of them a rediculous knockout.

A lot of people didn't like the first one because they didn't think he was suave enough.  But remember, the first one was when he first became a 00 agent and he hadn't developed his demeanor nor had much of his charms, he was more brute force and dealt with with enemies viciously.  It wasn't until later in his career did he really become such the pimp that we know him to be.  Quantum is also about pure revenge for the death of the only woman he ever truly loved.  Anyone who had that happen to them is going to be fucking pissed.
