You have to do a sound re-enactment in court to determine could he hear anyone from the rig cab?  I mean most cars are soundproof now. There is also an endangerment issue b/c there were people flashing guns, based on eyewitnesses. Also, that guy was caught under the 2nd trailer. The driver couldn't see him from the side mirror the way he was under the wheels.  I want to see how this case plays out.  That's a brutal death but you have to put yourself in the shoes of the driver in this case.

Sad truth is, IF he would have stopped, they would have pulled him out of the truck just like that. Some of them also brandished guns and other weapons.
