He was a terrible fighter.  No footwork.  No balance. No defense.  Just a bar brawler who relied on raw aggression and wild swinging.  Now he trains fighters? That was Kysokin Kid's first professional fight too.

Ye ol' Maverick is a shaky fighter but a pretty "good" storyteller.
To his credit he at least entered the the ring a few times and put himself out there - though as soon as punishment starts he totally shies away from it... not a good trait for a "pro".
