Probably just meant to mirror the Arnold cover they did a few months back. Funny how different Jay and Arnold look in that thing though. Jay just has so much more mass that he looks almost awkward wearing it.

Jay doesn't train with the arm Blaster..... Just to make the cover look "cool" and more complex.
Yes, Arnold was the one who made it look cool (that was in 1972.) Joe wanted it him to use it that day for commercial reasons.
Lou Ferrigno used it 20 years later to boost his comeback, and looked impressive as well.

His arms look awful in that cover. Arnold's arms in the original cover looked 10x better.
But that's no surprise as Arnold>Jay in any sense.

looking at Arnold and Lou pictures im amazed by the amount of density, details and shape the guys presented at that time ! compared to more washed out look this days !
wondering is it just the Slin/GH thing or the old combo from the 70's/80's that really worked so well along with high intensity workouts compared to today lazy approach !

i know it is just a single pic but my god jay's arms look full of oil. Old man freeman is a rock compared to him
I hope jay has been photoshopped in this- otherwise he looks like a narrow spiky aired oil bag
