Title: Odd gym story
Post by: calfzilla on May 13, 2009, 02:47:42 AM: So I was at the gym last night, and seated about to do overhead dumbell extension with a 55#, not a big weight, and some dude walks past me and was like "Quick question, how much is that?" I'm like 55. Then he is like wow and walks away. So I am thinking this guy is "special" or just a gym newb and doesn't understand that 55lb dumbell for overhead dumbell tricep extensions isn't a lot of weight. Just a very odd occurence, especially considering I never talk to anybody and nobody ever talks to me.

He could have been a schmoe sizing you up. Since you responded like a straight man (just the facts without any added drama), he walked away disappointed.

No, small and looked like he had never even driven past a gym his whole life.
