That was his first book. Ripped II is a way better book. Actually all of his books as a whole is a first rate education in bodybuilding. His books don't read like they are aimed at 12 year olds like the majority of bodybuilding books. He backs up his thoughts with research most of the time. He isn't the best bodybuilder who ever lived but he got the most out of his limited potential. I highly recommend his books. Ripped one, I would say is good but not his best effort.
