Buchanan was insane looking. Can't believe he didn't win the big shows. He looked like a cartoon superhero. He even brought his legs up to par later in his career.

This really is a great thread. A big thanks to ALL who contribute to it and keep it going. Reminds me of the days when I loved bodybuilding. Every contest was loaded with top physique. All different, unique. In fantastic condition and proportion. All offered a different "look" a different strength a different weakness. Some guys had great upper bodies with slim legs, other were big but not as ripped, or vice versa, most had great arms, all looked like a comic book hero.

This thread motivates me to still go to the gym and do 4 and 5 day split routines. It reminds of when bodybuilding was fun, and healthy.
