I have a different take. His father gets arrested in the gym parking lot for selling syringes and vials from the trunk of his car. He goes off steroids and shrinks down to nothing. His arrest made the paper. His boss fires him. His arrest conviction for a schedule drug makes it hard to get a job not that his prior job was such a prize. Now with the loss of his steroid income and his job his wife has finally had enough of all the drugs, his steroid temperament and gets a restraining order against him.

How is that one lucky little kid?Cause his dad wil die of a heart attack?serious question.
We have no idea if that guy is really the kid's father. He could be a step father, uncle, super nice neighbor, cousin, whatever.
But what is interesting here is the negative view of bodybuilding you two have versus my positive view. One of my frustrations and disappointments about this whole Getbig board is how negative it is toward bodybuilding. It's a real turn off to me. And if someone has such a negative view, why in the world they would spend their time here I don't understand. One answer to that is that I often think all the negative posters are "sour grapes" people. They tried working out and didn't build any muscles, and thus didn't experience all the thrills muscles, even medium size ones, can bring. Ergo all of a bodybuilding is bad.
My point about the kid being lucky is that sitting next to him is someone real to inspire to when he grows up. Not a magazine, or a website. A real in the flesh bodybuilder. Something very few little kids get in life, including little kid me.
