I can help but feel if steroids weren't invented this guy would give Zane a run for his money. BTW Lou has one of the longest forearm bellies as a very tall bber, it is just amazing.
Compared to Arnold, Lou really had great forearms...

lou was too tall at this point in terms years 1990 and up to beat a yates or coleman ect...but lou's build in hercules was awesome maybe his best shape ever .i don't know if that build could beat 90's but...it was pretty sick.

Talking about a level playing field with neither using steroids. Zane was lucky if he weighed 170lbs off cycle. Like many of his era he only juiced for one contest a year. Zane weighted 183 lbs. for the 1980 Olympia juiced.

He said after he lost the NABBA Universe in '69, he decided to retire. He worked for the power company in Tampa and retired from there. He seemed to be a very modest, simple guy. Married to the same woman his whole life, he still works out regularly and goes hunting now that he is retired.

No one’s saying Lou didn’t look good - Only he was a long way
From getting in the top positions.
