The not-vaccine is saving lives, but it's not a particularly deadly virus anyway. After an extensive analysis of the data, I'd say the vaccine is about "2/3 effective". Meaning, it's saving about 2 in every 3 people from [1] a hospitalization, [2] the need for mechanical ventilation, [3] a stay in the ICU, or [4] death.

Range = 50-70% effective.

I can break that down for you, OAK - but that would require that you know Grade 4 math. 

As of four days ago, 2021-12-17 at 7PM EST, there have been 29,795 C-19 deaths in Canada in total. Of course - AT LEAST 80% of these deaths were people dying WITH C-19, as opposed to *of* C-19 [in the USA, the figure is 94%].

Even ignoring health conditions, 82.44% of those deaths were among people aged 70+ [24,562 deaths].

So once again, let's do the Grade 4 math  :

[1] 29,795 "C-19 deaths" [BULLSHIT figure - but go with it].
[2] Day 697 of the P-demic so far.
[3] = 42.75 deaths daily.
[4] Canada's population is 38,436,447.

^ Again, this is Grade 4 math, OAK.  Now, let's calculate how long it would take for all Canadians to die of C-19:

38,436,447 ÷ (29,795 ÷ 697)
= 38,463,447 ÷ 42.75
= 899,151 days

899,151 ÷ 365
= 2,463.4 years

^ That's right - it will take over 2,400 years for this virus to kill all Canadians, at the current pace.

Ooh, I'm getting scared!!
