Viruses mutate at a predictable rate over time. They aren't alive and can't "work around" vaccines in order to survive.

Bottom line - in Manitoba, fully vaccinated people make up a greater percentage of new cases than their percentage of the population.

So the reality is: current vaccines do not vaccinate against the new variant.

I don't know anything about Manitoba Canada.  I looked up the population and it is about 1.3 million.  So if 1,300 have died (as the picture shows), then that is 1 in a thousand deaths.  .1% died?  That's miniscule.

The Booster is where they're fucked and they know it.  A high percentage who gave in and got vaccinated early on are absolutely refusing the booster because they realize it's all bullshit.  Workplaces with 80%+ vaccination rates will face sub 50% on the booster.  This puts the Covid crazies in the position of losing even more of the few shreds of credibility they have with the public turning them into traffic cops enforcing red light cameras with speed limits set artificially low.
