Yes, Caucasian. There are some Jews that are African, Asian etc. but the vast majority are actually White.

https://www.livescience.com/40247-ashkenazi-jews-have-european-genes.html

Surprise: Ashkenazi Jews Are Genetically European

The origin of the Ashkenazi Jews, who come most recently from Europe, has largely been shrouded in mystery. But a new study suggests that at least their maternal lineage may derive largely from Europe.

Though the finding may seem intuitive, it contradicts the notion that European Jews mostly descend from people who left Israel and the Middle East around 2,000 years ago. Instead, a substantial proportion of the population originates from local Europeans who converted to Judaism, said study co-author Martin Richards, an archaeogeneticist at the University of Huddersfield in England.

Tangled legacy

Little is known about the history of Ashkenazi Jews before they were expelled from the Mediterranean and settled in what is now Poland around the 12th century. On average, all Ashkenazi Jews are genetically as closely related to each other as fourth or fifth cousins, said Dr. Harry Ostrer, a pathology, pediatrics and genetics professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and the author of "Legacy: A Genetic History of the Jewish People" (Oxford University Press, 2012).

But depending on whether the lineage gets traced through maternal or paternal DNA or through the rest of the genome, researchers got very different answers for whether Ashkenazi originally came from Europe or the Near East.

Past research found that 50 percent to 80 percent of DNA from the Ashkenazi Y chromosome, which is used to trace the male lineage, originated in the Near East, Richards said. That supported a story wherein Jews came from Israel and largely eschewed intermarriage when they settled in Europe. [The Holy Land: 7 Amazing Archaeological Finds]

But historical documents tell a slightly different tale. Based on accounts such as those of Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, by the time of the destruction of the Second Temple in A.D. 70, as many as 6 million Jews were living in the Roman Empire, but outside Israel, mainly in Italy and Southern Europe. In contrast, only about 500,000 lived in Judea, said Ostrer, who was not involved in the new study.

"The major Jewish communities were outside Judea," Ostrer told LiveScience.

Maternal DNA

Richards and his colleagues analyzed mitochondrial DNA, which is contained in the cytoplasm of the egg and passed down only from the mother, from more than 3,500 people throughout the Near East, the Caucusus and Europe, including Ashkenazi Jews.

The team found that four founders were responsible for 40 percent of Ashkenazi mitochondrial DNA, and that all of these founders originated in Europe. The majority of the remaining people could be traced to other European lineages.

All told, more than 80 percent of the maternal lineages of Ashkenazi Jews could be traced to Europe, with only a few lineages originating in the Near East.

Virtually none came from the North Caucasus, located along the border between Europe and Asia between the Black and Caspian seas.

The finding should thoroughly debunk one of the most questionable, but still tenacious, hypotheses: that most Ashkenazi Jews can trace their roots to the mysterious Khazar Kingdom that flourished during the ninth century in the region between the Byzantine Empire and the Persian Empire, Richards and Ostrer said.

The genetics suggest many of the founding Ashkenazi women were actually converts from local European populations.

"The simplest explanation was that it was mainly women who converted and they married with men who'd come from the Near East," Richards told LiveScience.

Another possibility is that Jews actively converted both men and women among local populations at this time, although researchers would need more detailed study of paternal lineages to test that hypothesis, Richards said.

The microphone is turned one way when he is wearing the shirt with the cross

And after the in-between blinken ,basketball etc bits it is turned another way. His shirt sleeve length also looks different.

So Occam's razor would suggest they used 2 different speeches in these 2 diffent Ukraine updates rather than some grand remove the cross conspiracy ....

Imagine how many Americans had on the job accidents, car accidents getting to work, heart attacks from stress, time away from families, and thousands of hours of toil in order to raise the $60,000,000,000 that neocons(1/2 the Republicans and all democrats) gave to Ukrainian oligarchs while spoiled brats cheer it on, sounding like they're trying to impress their high school English teacher.

Russia could wipe out US with just four Satan II missiles, state media claims
Yesterday hosts on RussiaOne - the Kremlin's prime mouthpiece - boasted of the country's military prowess and its flagship Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, the world-ending Sarmat II

Russian state TV pundits have issued a series of chilling threats against the US warning Vladimir Putin could raze the "entire east coast" with two missiles.

Hosts on the Kremlin's propaganda mouthpiece channel, Rossiya 1, boasted of the country's military prowess before branding all Ukrainians "incurable" yesterday.

Guest Alexie Zhuravlev discussed the state of the war with fellow lawmaker Yevgeny Popov, who hosts the popular show.

Popov said just two of Russia's Sarmat missiles - know as the "Satan 2" in the West - could destroy the entire east coast.

He added the Kremlin could destroy the west coast with another pair of missiles.

He said: "Four missiles and there'll be nothing left.

"They think the mushroom cloud will be taller than a high rise. That mushroom cloud will be visible from Mexico" said Zhuravlev.

Many of the veiled and overt threats from Russian state pundits and politicians have involved the world-ending Satan II missile, which is said to be capable of carrying warheads with 50 times the obliteration power of the Hiroshima bomb.

In another interview, Zhuravlyov, 59, said the Sarmat would reduce the US to "nuclear ashes" if they "think that Russia should not exist".

His comments echoed those of Dmitry Rogozin, a fervent chum of the tyrant, who claimed the missiles could destroy huge sections of the US before turning his sight on the UK and warning the missile could reach British targets in 200 seconds.

Rogozin- who heads Russia's space agency Roscosmos - boasted the hypersonic missile could demolish "half the coast of a continent" while visiting schoolchildren.

Wearing his space agency uniform, he showed them a video of a number of Russia ’s strategic rockets at a “federal education marathon” called New Horizons.

This culminated in him showing them the Sarmat, also known as Satan-2, an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of striking targets at 15,880mph.

"Here you see the test launches of our missiles,” he boasted.

Russia’s new 'big beast' hypersonic Sarmat is a 208-ton 15,880mph intercontinental ballistic missile.

Putin has said the weapon is “unstoppable” by the West with “no analogues…in the world for a long time to come”.

The Constitution was written to protect the people against a government like the current US regime. Of course it is only useful if the government abides by it. If they wipe their asses on it the next step might be a violent confrontation. That's where the second amendment comes in handy.

Zelensky aide: Ukraine losing up to 200 troops a day

A senior Ukrainian presidential aide has told the BBC that between 100 and 200 Ukrainian troops are being killed on the front line every day.

Mykhaylo Podolyak said Ukraine needed hundreds of Western artillery systems to level the playing field with Russia in the eastern Donbas region.

He also said Kyiv is not ready to resume peace talks with Moscow.

Ukrainian troops are under relentless bombardment as Russian forces attempt to take control of the whole of Donbas.

"The Russian forces have thrown pretty much everything non-nuclear at the front and that includes heavy artillery, multiple rocket launch systems and aviation," Mr Podolyak said.

He repeated Ukraine's appeal for more weapons from the West, saying that the "complete lack of parity" between the Russian and Ukrainian armies was the reason for Ukraine's heavy casualty rate.

"Our demands for artillery are not just some kind of whim... but an objective need when it comes to the situation on the battlefield," he said, adding that Ukraine needs 150 to 300 rocket launch systems to match Russia - a much higher number than it has received so far.

Will ‘war fatigue’ undermine the West’s support for Ukraine?

With the war in Ukraine continuing into its third month and no resolution in sight, Russian President Vladimir Putin appears to be preparing for a “prolonged conflict” that could drag on for months or even years, National Intelligence Director Avril Haines told Congress last month. A key element guiding Putin’s new strategy, according to Haines, is his belief that the West will gradually lose interest in supporting Ukraine’s resistance as the war continues to grind on indefinitely. “[Putin is] probably counting on U.S. and EU resolve to weaken as food shortages, inflation and energy prices get worse,” she said.

When Russian forces first invaded in late February, Western nations banded together to swiftly send billions of dollars in military equipment and direct funding while providing significant logistical support to Ukrainian forces. They also levied tough sanctions on the Russian economy that reduced Russia’s ability to sell its fossil fuel exports and severed its ties to the global financial system.

That support has continued as the contours of the conflict have changed, with Russia shifting away its effort to swiftly overwhelm major Ukrainian cities and instead focusing on making incremental progress in eastern regions of the country. Last month, Congress approved an additional $40 billion in military funds, bringing the total U.S. commitment to Ukraine’s war effort to roughly $54 billion. Sanctions against Russia have also contributed increased costs on a range of consumer goods, particularly gas and food prices.

In the eyes of observers like former Finnish Prime Minister Alexander Stubb, there is a real danger that “war fatigue” will slowly erode the West’s support for Ukraine as the months pass and the costs of that support continue to mount. They note that depictions of brave Ukrainian resistance, which dominated news coverage and social media in the early days of the war, have been pushed out by other stories. There’s also concern citizens in the U.S. and Europe may not be willing to tolerate higher energy and food prices for months on end. This belief has led some experts, including the former U.S. ambassador to Russia, to encourage the West to to “do more now to hasten the end of the war” before fatigue sets in.

But others believe the West is well positioned to maintain its support for Ukraine for the long haul. “If [Putin] expects that we will waver or fracture in the months to come, he is equally mistaken,” President Biden wrote in an op-ed for the New York Times late last month. Some experts argue that the costs of backing Ukraine now would be dwarfed by the protracted expense of containing Russia if it successfully conquers the country. There are also those who believe that Russia itself may struggle to keep up its war effort amid the sanctions and significant losses of military lives and equipment.
