But why is it you feel it’s the US who are/is going to lose? This is what I don’t get.

China is utterly fucked right now. They import 85% of their food. They import 85% of their energy. Guess where the largest inflation was seen in? Food and energy.

alliances between under developed countries is essentially people thrown overboard from the cruise ship and they huddle together in the water to try and all remain afloat.

The US is utterly annihilating everyone right now. Don’t worry, the pain will hit you guys eventually with inflation and you kiss goodbye the ability to have 3 cars parked in the driveway and will have bicycles and scooters.

That's been the norm in parts of Europe like Denmark and Netherlands for decades. Also walking places instead of taking a car.

Americans think if that happens to them then it's over, but what they fail to understand is that your average Dane or Dutch enjoys a far better standard of living than your average American.

They have better public transport systems and infrastructure for biking over there. We missed the bus on that over here.

Better public transport and infrastructure will follow once multiple cars per household stops being an option.

Or pray that Papa Elon saves you with hyperloop and Electric vehicles.

Do you know anything about building roads, civil works projects or rail systems? It’s quite complicated and not something that you can snap a finger and have done. There will be a lag inbetween no cars and mass transport.

Do you know it's not unusual for some Scandinavian kids to walk an hour in snow just to get to school.

The meltdowns over the coming cost of living crisis are gonna be hilarious.

Let me highlight a post of mine from several weeks back.

Is there gonna be a global collapse? Maybe. But must of us first worlders on here just have to worry about tightening our purse strings, whereas those in third world will be worrying about starvation.

Deglobalisation which is what's happening is a good thing, it needs to happen. Standards of living dropping because of it won't be nice, but in the grand scheme of things it's nothing. It's just people being soft and crybabies. We could all learn a thing or two from the frugal Dr Goodrum here.

The FED and those making decisions know exactly what they're doing. Well they know what they're trying to do. Success isn't guaranteed, but never bet against the USA and capitalism. Buy the dip.

The US is winning in this scenario. Arms sales are up and Russia is getting massively degraded. China are seeing the West’s resolve and Russia’s threat to western democracy has finally been understood and acted upon.

Six months into the war in Ukraine, Russian media has a new message: ‘Either we win or World War III begins’

https://www.grid.news/story/global/2022/08/24/six-months-into-the-war-in-ukraine-russian-media-has-a-new-message-either-we-win-or-world-war-iii-begins/

Listen to the messaging now — and you can sometimes hear an entire Russian TV broadcast that never mentions a specific front line or battle in Ukraine itself. What you hear now — incessantly — is talk of a struggle of civilizations. This is a fight for the soul of Russia, for its rightful place on the planet. The enemies are not in Kyiv, or in the Donbas; they are in Brussels and Berlin, London and Washington, D.C.
This is nothing new. Russia's special military operation in Ukraine was to thwart NATO's advances to Russia's border which Russia sees as an existential threat. The battle was always with NATO. Zelensky is a puppet installed by the West. and now that USA, UK, France, Germany, Poland etc. are all doing their best to help Ukraine militarily of course Russia is going to start ramping up rhetoric against the West.

I said this many years ago. It is in the best interest of the world that the head of the Deep State snake is cut off. Trump should have authorized the US military to go after and take out the Rothschilds and agents of them like Soros. This could have been done in one week. Perhaps the Russians could have helped with this. Because the alternative to this is a Nuclear War that will take the lives of billions of people.

The US and the West is currently being run by the criminal Deep State. They are willing to start a nuclear war to cover their crimes or get their way in their quest for power and ultimate control of the world. If people want peace they would support the destruction of the Deep State.

Where's your proof? I don't see headlines about Russia retreating.

Ukraine keeps asking for more weapons. If they were winning why do they need more?

Russia should do everyone a favor and drop nukes on the decision making centers in Brussels and Kiev. Time to play chicken with the Deep State.

Ukraine calls for more weapons and sanctions on Russia; UN says nearly 18 million people need aid

The U.S. State Department issued a warning over the threat of increased Russian strikes on Ukraine during the week of its independence day on Aug. 24, urging remaining Americans in Ukraine to leave the country. Kyiv is bracing itself for fresh Russian attacks that its President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned may be “particularly nasty.”

The U.N. continued to sound the alarm over the situation at Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, Europe’s largest, demanding a demilitarization of the area and warning that the world is facing a moment of “maximum danger.” A worker at the plant died of his injuries due to Russian shelling near the facility, Ukraine’s state energy company said.

Meanwhile, the volume of grain leaving Ukraine’s ports for export has increased to more than 700,000 metric tons.

Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov called for additional weapons and tighter sanctions on Russia as the Kremlin’s war approaches its sixth month, a somber milestone that coincides with Ukraine’s Independence Day.

“Sanctions should be tightened and loopholes closed. Russian citizens should face a Schengen Zone tourist visa ban, with only humanitarian cases permitted to enter the EU,” Reznikov wrote for the Atlantic Council.

Reznikov also called on Western governments to support Ukraine with more weapons and humanitarian aid.

“The current war is not just about Ukraine. It is a struggle to determine who gets to set the rules the whole world will live by,” he wrote.

“It is also a wake-up call for the many Europeans still in denial over the threat facing the continent from a hostile Russia,” he added.

The ABSOLUTE irony of this post!

😆
Probably saying that to keep the left off his back. Privately he might be on Russia's side. But he can't say that out loud. If he is really in support of Ukraine then Trump is not the real deal. All the swamp creatures that dwell in the swamp he wanted to drain support Ukraine. My enemy supports Ukraine. That's why I am backing Russia.

Yes, exactly.

US has highest quality of living standards and cheapest pricing for all consumer things. They also have the highest selection of genders. Arguably the harder life is the less genders you have time to create lol :D

Many rich dump materials things to feel more normal. Meanwhile middle America is on prescription meds to deal with their anxiety over social media trends, likes and material things. Back in the 60s we didn’t have everyone medicated and seeing therapists.

Not everyone lives in urban areas.

I live in the countryside and they just started trials of electric scooters here.

We have zero infrastructure to really support them here though so it needs to be built.

In Prison Island capital they have scooter infrastructure and it’s fucking awesome. It’s where we are headed and sooo much easier to get around on.

Only in the large Cities.

But yes, some of these folks will bicycle 20 miles a day to and from work.

I was amazed at how many adults had never even driven a car in Germany and Denmark. Plus, most can't even afford one or the taxes that come with them. I lived in Germany for 2 years.

As others have stated, we are far beyond that ability here in the State due to the way we have developed large Cities and allowed uncontrolled zoning changes, or like in Houston, no zoning at all.

If we make a new development code standard across the States, we MAY see an improvement in 40-50 years. But you cannot retroactively fix these things.

Trying to get rid of vehicles will be a disaster.

These things need to be implemented carefully and thoughtfully. Not imposed by an over reaching Government arm.

More buses and bus routes, smaller cars and eventually a move to electric vehicles. That doesn't need new infrastructure, just a different mindset.

Toronto for example developed in the same way as many US cities, but they've embraced buses and aren't as reliant on cars in the same way as Americans in similar cities.

Also the best selling cars in the US by an order of magnitude are pick up trucks and 4x4s. Is everyone in the US working as a handyman or farmer or something? When this shit storm peaks and some bodybuilding manlet moans about the cost of filling up his pick up truck or some soccer mum cries about having to give up her SUV, it won't be a tragedy it will be entitlement at its finest.

It's going to get much worse this winter when Russia turns off the gas and takes out the power plants that produce electricity. I'd be stocking up on warm clothing.
