Just waiting for the counter offensive to start. It’ll be funnier that way. Looking forward to seeing how pro-Russian halfwits spin yet another epic fail.

Only a looney leftie would think Ukraine is winning at anything... I could care less about Russia either, but its fun to watch the left melt.

Russia-Ukraine war: Wagner suffers big losses due to lack of weapons and supplies

The Wagner Group Russian paramilitary organisation has lost nearly 65 percent of its recent recruits in Ukraine, is short of fighters, and beset by logistical and supply chain problems, two sources directly involved with the private military market told Middle East Eye.

The US government claimed that Wagner, which has deployed in various countries at Moscow’s behest and is currently playing a key role in the war in Ukraine, has had 30,000 casualties, 9,000 of whom died in combat on the Ukrainian front.

According to an assessment collated by the US Defence Intelligence Agency, Russia has suffered 189,500-223,000 total casualties, including 35,500-43,000 killed in action and 154,000-180,000 wounded.

Ukraine has suffered 124,500-131,000 total casualties, including 15,500-17,500 killed in action and 109,000-113,500 wounded in action, according to the leaked document entitled "Russia/Ukraine - Assessed Combat Sustainability and Attrition".

The majority of those Wagner fighters killed were members of units made up of prisoners who were recruited from penal colonies in return for pardons and salaries, one of the sources told MEE.

Both sources said most of Wagner's casualties were caused by the absence of sophisticated weapons, in some cases lack of simple ammunition, such as rounds for AK-47 rifles. Ineffective command and management have also been an issue, they said.

Late, incorrect, or inadequate medical care has also seriously eroded the company's strength, they added.

“If you are seriously wounded while fighting in Wagner ranks, it is almost impossible to survive. They are in a serious logistics chain crisis. They are also understaffed,” said the second source, who is familiar with Wagner’s inner workings.

The second source said most of Wagner’s dead lost their lives on the Bakhmut front in eastern Ukraine, which the source described as “a slaughterhouse”.

“The logistics problems in Wagner kill more Russian fighters than the Ukrainians themselves,” the second source said.

A military source from Ukraine said a large part of Wagner’s force is no longer able to fight. "Too many recruits have been killed or wounded. Most of the wounded are unable to return to the front line,” the source said.

Is the FBI censoring content on social platforms at the behest of a foreign regime?

How The FBI Helps Ukrainian Intelligence Hunt ‘Disinformation’ On Social Media

The Federal Bureau of Investigation pressures Facebook to take down alleged Russian “disinformation” at the behest of Ukrainian intelligence, according to a senior Ukrainian official who corresponds regularly with the FBI. The same official said that Ukrainian authorities define “disinformation” broadly, flagging many social media accounts and posts that he suggested may simply contradict the Ukrainian government’s narrative.

“Once we have a trace or evidence of disinformation campaigns via Facebook or other resources that are from the U.S., we pass this information to the FBI, along with writing directly to Facebook,” said llia Vitiuk, head of the Department of Cyber Information Security in the Security Service of Ukraine.

"We asked FBI for support to help us with Meta, to help us with others, and sometimes we get good results with that,” noted Vitiuk. “We say, 'Okay, this was the person who was probably Russia's influence.'"

Vitiuk, in an interview, said that he is a proponent of free speech and understands concerns around social media censorship. But he also admitted that he and his colleagues take a deliberately expansive view of what counts as “Russian disinformation.”

“When people ask me, ‘How do you differentiate whether it is fake or true?’ Indeed it is very difficult in such an informational flow,” said Vitiuk. “I say, ‘Everything that is against our country, consider it a fake, even if it's not.’ Right now, for our victory, it is important to have that kind of understanding, not to be fooled.”

Yeah, I would take those numbers with a grain of salt. If you believe anything coming from the "Empire of Lies" you are very naïve. We're at the point where nothing the West claims can be trusted. An old man with severe dementia is the President of the USA. Does that not make you wonder and ask questions?

Big fan of Dmitry Medvedev also! Russia is lucky to have people like him and Putin.

https://www.rt.com/russia/575541-medvedev-ukraine-mass-destruction/

Ex-Russian president calls for ‘complete’ dismantling of ‘Kiev regime’
Only a crushing military defeat will “calm down” the Ukrainian leadership, Dmitry Medvedev has said

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has called for the “complete dismantling” of the “Kiev regime,” as well as for inflicting “mass destruction” on the country’s military personnel and hardware.

Medvedev, who currently serves as deputy chair of Russia’s National Security Council, made the remarks in a Telegram post on Friday, commenting on an interview Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky recently gave to several Nordic media outlets. He summarized Zelensky’s comments as consisting of demands for more weapons from Kiev’s Western backers and promises of a successful counteroffensive, including an attack on Crimea, while also warning that the conflict may drag on for “decades.”

While the interview appeared to be “contradictory” and “delusional,” even such statements should not be underestimated, Medvedev warned.

"One should not underestimate even delusional speeches. This is a hysterical manifesto of the Kiev regime, which is seeking to consolidate its Nazi elites, maintain the morale of the troops and receive additional support from its sponsors."

To successfully foil Kiev’s plans, Russia must inflict “mass destruction of personnel and military equipment” during the much-hyped Ukrainian counteroffensive and inflict a “maximum military defeat” on Kiev’s military, Medvedev said. Ultimately, the “Nazi regime in Kiev” must be “completely dismantled” and demilitarized throughout the entire territory of “former Ukraine,” he added.

Apart from that, Russia must pursue those who manage to flee, and seek “retribution” against the “key figures of the Nazi regime, regardless of their location and without statute of limitations,” Medvedev stressed. Anything short of that would not suffice, the ex-president believes.

“Otherwise, they will not calm down, and the drug-addled nonsense can turn into reality and the war will drag on for a long time. Our country does not need that,” Medvedev said.

The ex-president has repeatedly warned Kiev against any attempts to seize the Crimean peninsula, which broke away from Ukraine in the aftermath of the 2014 Maidan coup and joined Russia after locals overwhelmingly supported such a move during a referendum.

Last month, Medvedev issued a nuclear warning to Kiev, cautioning that any attempt at a “serious offensive” targeting the peninsula would be “the basis for the use of all means of protection, including those provided for by the fundamentals of the Doctrine of Nuclear Deterrence.”

Wagner Group financier Yevgeny Prigozhin threatened to withdraw Wagner forces from Bakhmut if the Russian military command fails to provide more ammunition to the Wagner mercenaries. Prigozhin stated in an interview with a Kremlin-affiliated milblogger on April 29 that the Wagner mercenaries will continue to fight in Bakhmut but will need to “withdraw in an organized manner or stay and die” if the situation does immediately not improve.

Russia’s Wagner mercenary force boss threatens Bakhmut withdrawal

“Every day we have stacks of thousands of bodies that we put in coffins and send home,” Prigozhin said.

“If the ammunition deficit is not replenished, we are forced – in order not to run like cowardly rats afterwards – to either withdraw or die,” he said.

The withdrawal of some fighters from Bakhmut would be likely, but he warned that this would mean the Russian front line would collapse elsewhere.
