Not saying you are not strong but your lifts look like spastic dangerous bullshit. You say with a bounce why? Why not see what you can lift properly keeping your back and ass flat on the bench and controlling the weight up and down without a bounce? You will get more development doing it right with less weight.

That 120-lb dumbbell press was surprisingly bad.

I felt like it was a bit off, but it was way off. It was weird.

Regarding 225 for reps - well, that's traditionally just a full reps demonstration. As long as you touch your chest and lock out your reps, you are ok.

Most who do 225 for reps do it with loose form.

With perfect form, I suspect I could get 12+ reps with 225.

I prefer Strongman to powerlifting due to the lack of refinement in Strongman.

Also, I have never been injured.

Then you can get 12 plus reps. Make the chest do the lifting that is what proper slow form does it puts the concentration of the lift on the primary muscle feel it in the stretch. Moving more weight with your legs and back and a bounce doesn't make you stronger than doing 12 proper reps with your chest. You are the same strength regardless, but the 12 proper reps will help you grow. You need to get a pump in the chest to develop your chest bouncing hip thrusters dont do that

You will absolutely get more chest development if you change your form.

Smith Inclines - 5 x 15,12,10,8,12 or more
Flyes - 5 X 20,15,12,10,8
Strict Paralell Bar Dips - 3 sets bodyweight as many good deep reps as possible rhythmically done.

At times sub in DB Inclines - 5 X 12,10,8,6,15 or more ....total failure

For some bench press just does not build pecs.

Anyway, I haven't updated here because missed my 225x25 bench press.

I was close though. I was confident I'd get 25-26, but no. It's weird how you have off days when you feel on, and on days when you feel off, sometimes.

The 225x30 and 315x15 may be harder than I expected, so I'm going to take videos every workout, so if I happen to get it - it will be recorded.
Yup. I'm 6'1" and athletic. Maybe post up some more of the same pictures for the 100x and talk about 315 for 15 again. I'm sure a retard like yourself knows retard chick's too so it doesn't surprise me you can trick some of them into fucking

This photoshop makes it appear that I was a clerk at an adult bookstore. In fact, I have never worked as a clerk anywhere in my entire life and don't plan to.

How was you run with Jane? Did she wear you out? She has long legs and can probably out run you.

The sprint work was fun and we were pretty close to the same times for the 40 yard dash, but I was a bit faster. She was faster at the 60 meter dash, which is apparently a real race distance. But it’s not like she’s an average woman out for a jog.

Thankfully I can still bench press more than her, but only by a small amount since I stopped taking Anadrol and sending jerkoff videos to old men. God bless the retarded, they give us so much to laugh about.

Bench press is a good measure of upper-body strength, but like Wes mentioned, not a good mass builder (for chest) for many.
(When using heavier weight).
With lighter weight and feeling the movement (like Brian said) it sure can be a good chest builder for most).
Most of the strong benchers (for strength, not mass) know that upper-back, strong triceps, shoulders, flared-lats, etc can help move more weight).
Not many strong benchers do "pec" exercises to help with bench.

While I can see why he wouldn't post a face photo - he can post a video of him lifting something while wearing a CoVee mask, or use software to blur his face.

He won't do that because he knows I'm stronger at every lift. With juice, without juice. With him on juice and 80-lb heavier. I'd be stronger in all those scenarios.

I can bench press 225 for 23 or 24 reps, depending on if I want to push that last rep. Since it's easier to get injured with age, I sometimes hold back that last rep.

Only when I attempted it did I realize just how fucking strong a person has to be to bench press 225x25.

Walter Sobchak, that delusional piece of shit, called that a weak lift. That comment could only come from someone who either doesn't train, or is so has never pushed themselves and has no idea how impressive that is.

There aren't 10 men where I live right now who can out-bench me.

That's why I continually challenge that loser to any strength contest just to prove I'm stronger, and to put it to rest permanently. Something I am fine with doing. Within 12 weeks of strength training specifically, there would be very few on here who could out-lift me.

But what I am saying to you right now is that Walter Sobchak is a delusional fool. There's no response to anyone who lifts what I do other than to say "good lift" [or "good lift for your size"], or nothing at all, really. So by conversing with him, you are talking to an utterly delusional moron.

I out-lift him on any lift anyway, though.

We were invited to run with a high school football team who were finishing their summer training program at the track near the gym. Jane ran a 5.20 in Salomon trail running shoes on a rubberized asphalt track. Something I never knew about the 40-yard dash is that the runner starts the timer, you don’t react to a starter sound.

I know 5.2 sounds slow compared to the NFL combine, but it isn’t slow, it’s a lot quicker than you think. The HS kids ran between 6 - 9 seconds. One smaller player ran under 5.0 and the two assistant coaches who were helping were in the 4.6 - 4.7 range, so I assumed they’re local college players?

And we went for stuffed French Toast, so who can complain.

No jerkoff videos were made for soggy old queers.  🤣

A long while back JPJ mentioned that some folks thought she resembled Cobi Smulders. Nothing wrong with that Cobi is very attractive. I checked to see if Cobi ever went blond to no avail. So a blond Cobi would be a real knockout! She's only 5'8" which isn't short but compared to her running mate in that photo, she's a giantess. Tom claims 67". This is probably when he's wearing lifts. LOL!

You can both outrun me these days, but you are what... half my age? Anyway, both your times are impressive. lately I walk and don't run. It is less hard on the body and still provides decent cardio.

It's cool that the two of you have become real life friends. I can only imagine the snappy repartee between the two of you. With respect to that, you are about equal.

Good point! And yet, men and women can be very competitive. Often the woman plays the "catch me if you can" game where she encourages the fellow to run after her and eventually she slows down so the guy can get to her. There is usually a lot of giggling going on in this process. And the rest of the story is x-rated.  ;)

Jane and my girlfriend are very good friends. I’m just the third wheel.

I invited Getbiggers to come workout with us a few years ago and JPJ showed up and she has been a friend ever since. I’m not sure who she looks like, but I know she used to always have me take pictures of her doing stuff with us to send to Pellius, Chaos, Wes and her family back home.

Now back to your regularly scheduled program of grooming Matt “Short Stroke” Canning.

Two things. Doing the same things expecting different results is not productive. Two, posting on Getbig to get good advices is foolish because you will get tarred and feathered. On the other hand that might be great to motivate you to show 'em!

The problem for Matt is to know what to accept and what to discard re the advices here. If you have to ask for information I doubt you will know good information from the rubbish. Clearly he has to do different things to change his physique. What do we find....he is doing the same training as before including bench pressing. By the way, some do benching and get upper chest development while others don't. Most of us follow what others have done so perpetuate any mistakes as well.
