I hate these "success" conferences where they take people from a completely unrelated field to teach you how to be successful in your job. Like Goggins can help you with anything besides sucking up pain while running 50 miles.
I think those speakers cater to the bottom portion of workers who don’t know what pushing yourself really feels like.
Top 2% are driven like mofos and require no pep talk.
The next 8% are driven hard but slightly off pace and results of the top 2%.
The next 90% are not self driven. They might be skilled. Might be shit. Might be smart. Might be dumb. What they have in common is no self drive or motivation.
You see this kind of split in fitness world. They cater to the average 90% who can’t do it on their own.
