Great post Danimal77....

JP is quite a guy and even Nasser will chime in to corroborate on great he was at his peak. I've met JP many times and even suspected he could be gh15 for a while... I never a chance to say hi when hitting the high desert.

I agree. I remember seeing this pic in Musclemag circa 1996 that showed Fux posing with Mike Matarazzo (FIBO, I think). They were both in the offseason and even though Mike was huge by himself, he looked like a light heavyweight next to Fux's super heavyweight. Fux also looked bigger than Nasser in a couple of photoshoots and I've never seen anyone outsize Nasser. Too bad he blew up too quickly and developed a gut, before wrecking his knees altogether and retiring from competition :(

especially good chest, i always wished i had chest genetics like him, didnt quite fulfill his potential IMO

342 and leaner than 90% of get big..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

fux was great for a few years back in the 90's,, never built on the 96 or 97 olympia ( yates last one!).. he was a legitimate top tier pro, age was on his side and was even touted as a future winner...

the extra weight comes from his hight, along with dillet and gunther, the only true 6ft pluss bodybuilders back then..

I do. Bill Kazmaier was 340 and was mostly muscle (very low body fat count). Fux had a similar physique to Kaz in his offseason. Very believable (but not for us mere mortals).

Kevin Levrone Mr. Olympia 2000 song.
Nobody could pull it off better than Kevin with that song.

Kevin is a con-artist but make no mistakes, he was the greatest stage performer ever!

Kazmaier, Capes and Sigmarsson will forever be my idols until the day I die. What they accomplished in the strength game is unbeatable.

BTW, what's the name of that second song in that 10 minute video of Kazmaier? It's a death metal song, but I can't place it. Anyone know?

Agreed, don't see what the big deal is with this guy; in person, not that impressive, thick but that's it; nowhere near Jay's or Ron's level of wow factor.
