I know this is kind of a weird topic, but does anyone notice veins popping out in their forehead during strenuous workouts? I do have kind of high blood pressure which I am trying to get down, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. Maybe not a big deal, but I have been noticing this only recently.

Don`t forget to breathe!! :)
-
Definitely. Sucks because you always get blood in your eyes.

Exactly control your breathing.
Of course there are probably some chicks who appreciate forehead vascularity. ;)

I'm NOT a big fan of forehead vascularity, and mine gets ridiculous when I am really lean.
Breathing or not, mine always pump up during a heavy workout or if I eat a cheat meal. I've never broken or popped any of them, but in general, it's not a real hot look on me. ::)

that's because of the drugs you abuse.

All the time. High blood pressure during static work is normal. Nothing to worry about, unless of course you have consistently high blood pressure at rest.
As a general rule:
During dynamic work systolic BP will rise, diastolic will remain about the same, or maybe slightly decrease.
During static work systolic and diastolic BP will rise.
Like the guys say, focus on your breathing, but even then you'll probably have some head veinage! ;D
Sound advice and knowledge.

I've got a big vein on both sides of my head that are usually quite pronounced. More pop up on my forehead when I laugh. And my eyes are nearly always bloodshot. I think its pretty normal though.

If your eyes are always bloodshot you should maybe consider getting your BP checked. Do you get headaches/migraines that you sometimes feel behind the eyes?

;D Cheers. Being a medical student comes in handy sometimes

Nah I rarely get headaches, only when I'm sick.
Actually, my bloodshot eyes may be from using the computer, I think I forget to blink enough.
