Pippen was one of my all time favorite players to watch. Awesome athlete who could fill out a stat sheet. If one area of his skill set was shit on game day, he was able to contribute in other areas. Beast of a defender too. Jordan doesn't win 6 rings without him.

Agreed. Always have to remind Jordan luvers that he had exactly 0 championships before he had Scottie as a teammate and 0 after parting with him.
Pippen is incredibly underrated and a phenomenal player in his own right.

i don't think jordan ever undervalued pippen. he took less money upfront, so pippen could get an extension. there are several years where pippen earned more from the bulls. of course jordan made it up with sponsors and those contracts at the end of his career. it was the clown ass horace grant, who said, jordan never won anything without him. ::)

One of the best finishers when driving to the hoop. Just nasty. On youtube you can see tons of epic dunks. Dude played above the rim. He was chosen one of the 50 best all time players so I don't think he was considered underrated.
