Any geography/777 wizards know if that timeline fits with a trip to Diego Garcia?

We need True Adonis in here, he's the one who initially located the surviving Boston Bomber.

I wish we had the kind of independent major media that was established to inform people, and investigate things.

Yeah, wish we could assign TA the case.

I'll try to figure it out tomorrow. Trying to see if the time that the Malaysian PM stated, could fit with a flight to Diego Garcia (or would it become out of the question, etc.)

Man, this story really hit me like a freight train. Whatever's going on, no matter what it is, it's seriously fucked.

No way it flew to Diego Garcia. Huge military presence there. The 777 would have been seen hundreds of miles away on radar heading in their direction.

So would you say the Russian article is false?

So would you say the Russian article is false?

Just read the article.

It sounds incredibly unlikely. It would be a HUGE conspiracy. All the ground personnel, the radar operators, other pilots, island support staff and residence of
Diego Garcia would all need to be part of the plan and what would the plan possibly be? The US Military has tens of thousands of airplanes. They can buy thousands more. Why would they ever steal one 10 year old Boeing 777 filled with people?

The article describes the supposed destination as a "vast and highly-secretive Indian Ocean base located on the Diego Garcia atoll".

You make some great points (not sure if the intent would be to steal it for the same reasons a person might steal a car, though).

What about the oxygen system? Do you think it's possible that the passenger oxygen may have been disabled as part of a hijacking process?

Very informative Boeing 777 information. This site appears to help 777 pilots prep for certain test. The o2 system is addressed. The link is safe.

It seems highly unlikely that such sabotage to the passenger o2 could have gone undetected.

Yeah, it would require some explanation to say it was brought there. Anything to discount the information in the article is a relief, that's for sure.

Will save this to look at first thing in morning. Thanks, Tommy. It's been an interesting thread, and it's probably nowhere near over.

I'm just curious why the pilot flew in circles until he got there is all, was he drunk? Or maybe controlled by aliens to make some crop circle in the air?

Guy on the pilot forum made a scary post, he said it could have been stolen to use as a bomb on a western target, and that all the worlds leaders were meeting in The Hague in the Netherlands for a summit on nuclear tech on the 25th of march, and maybe they plan to try to take them all out in one go!

That actually sounds good!

Horse Face John Kerry also gave Putin an ultimatum that runs out tomorrow.  ;D

I'd love to see Putin go crazy and rip that ugly scumbags jugular out.
