Anyone use a heart rate monitor for Cardio or working out to stay in "fat burning mode"?

i do, but not to burn fat - just to make sure i know how much effort i'm expending when i run. i don't wear it all the time though - awkward.

This coming from a person with a former swimmers body that is now 40lbs overweight....Thx for the great advice  :o

LoL. I am 178 lbs and look exactly the same as I always do.
