Buy Kirkland brand booze at Costco. Inside secret it's the expensive brands sold for way less. Their tequila and Irish Whiskey are excellent.

Not for every one. Kirkland does require certain brands they sell to manufacture a product under the kirkland brand, but it's not a across the board.

For example, there are numerous internet claims that the kirkland vodka in the tall bottle is grey goose, but it's not. The batteries are duracell though, stuff like that.

That said, I agree that the tequilia / vodka are incredible buys for the price, so we do buy them.

The bourbon is shit though.

My only experience at Costco is their Tequila and Irish Whiskey. Both are amazing.

Grey Goose denies they sell their vodka to Costco but they would have to do it. How could they justify selling their vodka for over double the price? Grey Goose is a brand new brand in my book that everyone jumped on as being elite when it came out. I remember the hype it generated in the late 1990's when it came out because of the price and everyone saying how good it was. Back then it was double the price of other vodka's and that checked the snobbery box. Cheap Russian Stolichnaya Vodka tastes better but then again with most vodka it's hard to tell the difference. I never bought into the snobbery that price means it's better. The biggest scam Johnny Walker Blue. On a side note Kirkland manufactures nothing. It all rebranded stuff coming from established manufacturers.

I have tasted both Goose and the Kirkland brand side by side, they're not the same. Grey Goose is smoother.

It's all subjective of course, but I've always found Grey Goose to be really smooth, one of the few vodkas I could drink straight or with just some olives or something.

I'm not a big vodka guy anymore but if you like a smooth vodka you can drink straight then go for Stoli Elite.

I'm done with beers for a bit, and can't always do bourbon.

Tequilia / soda with lime is pretty good though. Low cal, hardly a hangover.

It won Vodka of the year 2022, it's $39.99 and it comes in a cool looking bottle.

...It use to be at least $25.00 more but since Russia invaded the Ukraine the price dropped.Thanks Putin!

Girlfriend got me a cocktail set and I promptly went on Amazon and bought all the ingredients necessary for a passiontini.

Absolut vanilla vodka, passoã liqueur, passion fruit puree, sugar syrup and prosecco to serve with.

Got the final Cormack McCarthy novels a while ago, sadly still haven't read them.
