yes, i used to watch this as a kid. at one poitn, he decided he needed to release the bear he had raised since it was a cub, back into the wild (he may have actually called it 'grizz'). so in oreder to give it a healthy dose of fear of humans, so it would avoid hunters, he snapped a trap on it. after releasing it the bear ran off, and marty was heart broken, screaming he was sorry as the bear ran off.

this and mutual of omaha's wild kingdom were my favorites.

Yeah...I liked PBS' "Nature" as well.
