this video is fake, watch how easily he twists the bar while its still on the rack with the 605, a bar with that much weight would never be able to roll that easily in his hands.

you're right it shouldn't be rolling that easily and it should also move the bench more when he racks it. but then again what the hell kind of a gym has fake 45 plates

Why are idiots talking about 225 for 20 like it should be a crazy feat or something
im absolutely nothing and the last time i repped 225 i got 23, 405 would DRIVE ME THROUGH THE FLOOR, so you can never judge a max off of reps.

bro, some bars have an axle bearing(?)...dont know if thats the right word in english, hope u know what i mean
this would explain it, the gym i worked out when i was in cologne had these you could roll the bar no matter how much weight was on it

Doing a 4 plate bench with your feet up for reps is impressive as hell Adrain. When it comes to numbers i find if you get 10 reps with 2 plates that equals 1 rep with 3 plates, then 10 with 3 will be 1 with 4,and so on.You usually find if you get 25-26 with 2 plates that is equal to a 4 plate for a single.

Adrain - you're making it look easy bro. Top notch form and nice numbers.

Definitely top of the pecking order.

P.S. Meso, I find for every 8 reps with 225lb - i can add 50lb for 1RM. I'll test the 6 rep theory though.

Well I tried this at the gym yesterday with 3 plates and had a hard time, had to put some muscle into it, then tried with four and could barely twist it at all, the difference was night and day between 3 and 4, so six would be certainly impossible, now about it being different with a different bar, well, I don't know, maybe,..... but because my focus was else where and I was messing around got a lousy 2 reps up, shitty workout :'(

People talking about benching 225 for dozens of reps or 400+ maxes like it's no big deal need a little perspective I think.  Take note next week at the gym of how many unique individuals you see actually benching 225 or more for any number of reps, I assure you it will be quite a small number unless you lift in a college footfall training facility or something of that nature.

maybe getbiggers train in gyms where 500 pound benches for 10 reps are commonplace while their 3 porn star girlfriends sit patiently awaiting their 9 inch penis post workout fuckings and then private jet flyings to Arubu to dine on 600 dollar steaks, Hulk.

Yes I think some of these guys need a spotter just to help haul their dick from station to station in the gym, and would probably enjoy such a service if you catch my meaning.

Adrian and Meso would have you believe that they wake up after 3 hours sleep, eat 1/3 of a bowl of Lucky Charms, go to the gym, pound reps with 405 on the bench, wait 6 hours to eat some jamaican food then wake up ans deadlift 700 for reps the next day. ::)

I don't deadlift anymore never had Jamaican food get about 6 hours sleep.  I can rep
405 but Ive been doing it for some years now.  Not saying it's common but I have seen more than a few rep 405 in my life time.

that jamaican comment was meant for me...
ignore him when he was pwned on here... and ran away crying ... i was the same guy he used to PM and even though he was a dickhead and never stop making personal attacks before he was PWNED by his own friends.... i still would respond to his pms and encouraged him to post again.... anyway
question Ive been meaning to ask adrian .. whats ur arm routine

Anyone who can bench over 600 pounds has access to top photographers who know how to get phony plates. And that's a fact Jack. Those plates are easier to get then most people think.

You sound like a bench wonder... What about squats/deadlifts?
That's funny cause I consider it my weakest lift, my squats have never gone pass 500 but for over 4 years have never done anything but deep squats, so I touch my ass to my ankles and I won't squat any other way so 500 may not sound like much but I go ankle deep for 3 or 4 reps, deadlifts are my strongest and have always had the strongest deadlift every gym I've been at. Have done 7 plates and a 25 for a single, 6 plates for 5 reps, 5 for 14 and 405 for 26, just starting to deadlift right now and I am about 10% off got six for a double the other day but taken 2 years off so in three months I am hoping to crack 8 plates, will show you a video in about 4 weeks of me doing 4 plate for 20, shouldn`t be a problem remind me and make sure you call me out on this ;)
