Melvin,

No one likes to boast about his many accomplishments online like yourself.....no one.

However, when asked about your educational endeavors, you've evaded the question continuously & ran like a scared little boy.

This is not like the Venom Vince that we've all come to know & love.

You can dish it out AND you can take it....except for this little matter.

So once again I ask "What education & completed degrees do you hold?"

What? Melvin has spoken many times about his formal credentials. One of the on going battles he has with Coach is that he doesn't think
Coach has enough degrees/diplomas/certifications as he does. Coach  is more hands on and experienced in real life enhancement of an
athlete's functional ability whereas Vince seems to emphasize more formal training and education.

Somebody has got to sell those Swiss balls.

My guess is that Melvin Goodrum doesn't have any of the degrees he brags about. He just took a course or class here or there & counts that as an actual degree.

If he had any actual completed degrees, why is he working dead end low paying jobs & not working within those actual industries in which he holds the degrees?

I took painting classes in kindergarten, so I guess I'm as qualified an artist as Goodrum is an Electronics Engineer.

My questionings regarding Coach occurred a very long time ago as he claimed to train a number of top MMA fighters and athletes as 95% of the posters up here are full of shit such as Qwert who lives in his mother's basement.  However, once I confirmed that he did train folks like Congo, I no longer had any doubt that he's a competent trainer and strength conditioning specialist.  While his ultra conservative postings, 5 wives, and bragging about all the money he makes gets on my nerves...it has no impact on anything professionally related.

As far as my degrees are concerned, I don't have anything to prove to anyone as I've shown them and some of them are on my personal website.  Regardless, I'm no longer involved in any electronics engineering because of the constant layoffs and simply put, just no real money potential compared to other activities that are more widely available and pay much more with less stress such as real estate, financial planning, health care management, etc.

I'm almost 40 so I have to consider things more carefully and I simply do not wish to spend the rest of my life fixing shit.  Back in the day, I used to get paid a kings ransom to fix Packard Bell computers (junk products) and installing hardware....now they pay almost minimum wage for the same thing at places like Best Buy.  Same with web design....everyone is pretty much one nowadays.

I'm fortunate enough to be talented to where I can do a wide range of activities to keep the bills paid.  Ultimately, I'm simply looking to settling down and enjoying life rather than going through the rat race and working myself to death because you only get one shot at it.

Oh my God Melvin Goodrum!!!!! Do you actually believe any of the things you write?

You don't want to spend the rest of your life fixing shit so you eschewed an engineering degree to work in dead end low paying jobs instead? Ooooook!!!!

I don't even know what to say to someone who lived in a trailer in the rural south & then claims he was once paid a kings ransom but turned it all down to live at poverty levels. That makes sense only to the delusional & mentally challenged.......that's a reference to you btw.

Face it Melvin Goodrum, you have no real qualifications, legit degrees, the intelligence or follow through to succeed at anything, hence a new business every other day.

How about just one single successful business? Not 100, just ONE. Can you name it?

You don't even have one single successful business that generates an sizable income so you can live above poverty levels.

What dead end jobs are you talking about and how do you know his income? As far as I know he owns his own business selling supps, exercise equipment and seems to be dabbling in a variety of ventures.

Generally, people with multiple failed businesses, no legit education or skills who've worked at nothing but dead end jobs, live in trailers in the rural south & have $150 in the bank aren't rolling in bee pollen.

You have access to his banking info?

My neighbor lives in a trailer. The land he's on, right on the shore line, is worth $500,000.

Did Melvin's supplement/equipment internet business fail? I thought he was adding new products.

Melvin Goodrum himself let everyone know last week that he only had $150 in the bank.

He's posted pics of his trailer & it's interior, it was not worth $500,000 & he lives in the poor rural south & not on a shoreline.

His supplement biz is just a site, that's about it. He can add 10 million products, all which are fulfilled by someone else & available elsewhere at much lower prices.

You sound like an intelligent successful guy not unlike Melvin. You should both team up & become the next PJ & Aaron of the supplement world. You may one day end up on the cover of MDm Flex or Jugs magazines.

On the contrary Melvin Goodrum, & that's why I see right through your BS & lies.

Successful businessmen do not have a new harebrained scheme/business every other day all of which fail.

Successful businessmen don't dream of one day moving to the big city & working at a call center & making $35,000 a year.

This is not the mind set of a successful businessman. It is the mindset of a wannabe & a failure who has no clue how a real business functions.

You're about as good a businessman as you are a bodybuilder, & that about sums it up in a nut shell.

Dear Vince,

Why do you care or worry about those who post here on getbig?
I know I posted I'd ignore your posts, but I must speak up now and be serious for once.

I've only known you from the various BB forums .
You seem like a good dude, who just wants basic respect,  like any of us.
BUT, we both know, the forums are NOT the place to get respect or many serious , thoughtful answers.

I suspect,  your current financial situation is like most getbiggers.
Most here  work a basic job and struggle to pay the bills or "get ahead".

I got a decent education and worked my way up  in my own field, for the past 25 yrs.
BUT, I'm not wealthy and never will be rich and famous.
Degrees and money don't make the man...character does.

Like you and some other getbiggers, I competed in bodybuilding but never got that close to a pro card.
You never did too well in contests. No biggy, most here never won anything and at least YOU gave it a shot.

Just be yourself Vince and have FUN on the forums.
All that really matters is how YOU feel when you put your head on the pillow each night.

Take care and good luck. ;)

Maybe when he said the other day that he has $15 left in his account?

Who on fucking earth is touching 40 and don't have at LEAST 5 figures with your own property. Isn't that bare bare minimum for not being functionally retarded?

3k??? Fucking score man! At least you're honest about your failings in business and life. Now if you could only get that telesales job (at age 40) you'd be touching 4k age 44-45 and be really on your way. Couple with 183 websites selling dirt you've got it made  8)

When you said a few months ago you could walk into any German car dealer and drop 50k on a new car, another lie I take it?

Howard, can't you see that Melvin Goodrum NEEDS the bodybuilding forums?

No one would know anything about him, but HE is the one who goes on the boards & brags about his 1000000s of businesses, his bank account balance, his education, posts pics of himself in a thong etc.

No one forces him to do all this, but he does it because it makes him feel good about his failures & his dead end go no where life.

In his mind, all publicity is good publicity.
