Missed end of Russia match and all of Algeria but heard on radio. Bet Russia are glad they pay Capello $11m/year to play boring and ineffective football. They were great in 2008-2010 under Hiddink.

How many more players will Portugal lose, they're gonna have to start using fans soon.

More chances for the US than I expected, certainly. They are pushing hard, but only shots from afar. So Portugal will score their second pretty soon. Too bad, I like the US team's mentality more.

I wouldn't stress too much if I was a USA fan, this is a shit Portugal team to start with, they only got through in a playoff because Ronaldo scored 4 goals in 2 matches. He is injured, Pepe is suspended, Coentrao is injured, Postiga is injured, first choice gk is injured...

They weren't good to begin with but now severely weakened. Just have best player and he is injured.

USA almost scored there.

Anyway, USA won first match so impossible they could go out losing this. Germany 4 points, Ghana 1 point, Usa 3 pts and Portugal 0 points after 2 games for 1st two and 1 game for last 2.

3pts for win, 1 pt draw, 0pts loss.

Germany are good but not guaranteed to win v USA last game. Ghana took the game to them (ie attacked and didn't just defend) and could have won. It's a very open world cup, I said it before, the biggest winners are bookmakers.
