Problem in this matter is simple: you all have point of view were the religions are work of god, and therefore mysterious. Take a while and try to think that religions are work of mankind, and you start to see how and why they manipulate people for certain purposes. If we take the muslim religion and strip it to the bone, what we will see? Set of orders which are based to the fact that women has to be slave to the man, and men has right to fuck everything which has pulse, no matter about species, age etc. Everything else in their book is utterly bullshit. There is set of commands in every religion because they are invented for crowd control, to make people busy with  the religion, so they will be easier to rule. And what comes first in all western religions? Money. Religion is big business in any western countries. Thank god we have the evolution, which clearly has rise the IQ of the man near the level, where they abandon religion. Tens of thousands has abandon their religion in europe per year, so one day we will see how the religions die away.

 Basically balance---harmony...man/woman needs laws to achieve balance/harmony (read moderation) because we are prone to excessive indulgences, which then creates chaos.

one guy said the scientists have a theory for what was before big bang, well yeah i heard them all before, very entertaining, multi verse, inflating then deflating ,paralel universes etc.

but the religious ones could just bring up their theory,claiming its some godly force behind it.

Because I have duties but believe me dying would be better, you are right about that concept, as much as I love life and think it is good, what God has planned for us after death is better.

When a person has no concept of anything beyond the death in this life I can understand how ridiculous it would appear for someone else to be excited about what lies ahead after that death. 

For me, I simply humbled myself to the idea that there must to be something more that what I understood if others were willing to give their lives for the will of Jesus Christ......and were happy about it LOL.

strange is something that rarely happens, you know 1 in a million is strange but when half the world thinks this way I find it highly inappropriate for you to classify it as strange. Thinking there is nothing after death to me sounds strange as well.

I agree, I do not know, my belief is based on faith.
