Title: DON MEREDITH RIP!

An NFL legend has died........Don Meredith Died in New Mexico of a brain hemorrhage. He was 72 years of age......he was Howard Cossell's side kick on Monday Night Football......and could also be seen in Lipton ice tea commercials. He was also known as "Dandy Don". May God rest his soul!

As Don would sing... "turn out the lights.....the party's over....."  RIP Don.....I have many great memories of him from MNF.

i always liked the verbal interplay between the pompous cosell and the country boy meredith. i'll never forgot the time cosell forgot what city he was in , and then proceeded to vomit all over meredith's new cowboy boots.

i just always go on profootballreference.com best site for stats. they have one for baseball as well as basketball, and several other sports.

I could have sworn I kept at least one 17 jersey from the Quincey carter days but it looks like I tossed both. :'(
