i know Paul don't come on the boards, let alone know how to power on a computer.
but i beleive somewhere on the site, it says winner of each class to obtain "PRO STATUS"...i gather this is not in the IFBB? but rather within this new federation only?

Fixed now.

That being said, what did happen with the PDI? I thought they had shows scheduled for this spring, but we're already at the end of April and I haven't heard a thing.

but this is an amateur organization, so obviously present IFBB pro's will not go that route, but let's say an amateur makes his way up through that org. are they banned from competing in NPC / IFBB ?

Haha. Bad example. I remember when Tiger had just turned pro and reporters asked him how it felt to be a positive role model for young black people. I think this was just after the LA riots. Fcuk, he blanched (hehe) and mumbled something about not being black but 'cablinasian' (sp?). Asshole. Guy's a great golfer and his wife is smoking but when it came time to do something righteous he pussied.

Sorry Tim. That, I feel, is a answer rife with relativism. Perhaps, one could put it down to his being young, but it would have been the 'right' thing to identify rather than fudging or with an eye to his future marketability, etc. Personal foibles aside, Muhammed Ali and Jim Brown etc. are legends precisely just for not doing so.
