brady is the king of this quarter, he's at home, manning/denver defense is tired and cold and already thinking about that long trip home.

Dropped passes. Denver receivers dropped several passes at some very inopportune moments in this game. Welker really shit the bed tonight. Denver players are dropping like flies this year too. I don't think they can absorb this many injuries and still expect to do anything in the post season. Just too many important players getting banged up.

It drives me nuts how they call Peyton the best all time, but as the games get harder and there's more at stake he stinks. He's great in the regular season and average in the playoffs. But guys like Brady, Montana, Elway, Kelly all fucking excelled the more pressure was put on them.

Manning didn't play all that bad. Like someone posted a bit earlier his receivers really let him down in this game, dropped some very catchable passes on critical downs.

Bellichek knew something was going on with Peyton. Whether his arm is injured or the weather but he wasn't right. I bet he wouldn't have done that if Peyton was having a good game.

The Patriots plan was to open a hole and let Manning hand off between the 20s all night. And that's exactly what he did. He actually fell into Bill B's trap. Sure the wind was tough to throw in but it wasn't impossible. Manning is too good of a passer to do what they did last night. The Pats gave up over 200 yards rushing to Moreno because that was exactly what the plan was to do. Take the ball out of Manning's hands. Manning can never be considered the best ever because he doesn't want to take over games. If he can find an out he will. And last night he did.
