United States says threats are concerning, and that it will defend Saudi Arabia and other Middle East allies.

One of the officials who confirmed the intelligence sharing to the Wall Street Journal described it as a credible threat of an attack “soon or within 48 hours”.

“We are concerned about the threat picture, and we remain in constant contact through military and intelligence channels with the Saudis,” the National Security Council said in a statement on Tuesday. “We will not hesitate to act in the defence of our interests and partners in the region.”

Haha, not. Iran isn't stupid enough to do that. Just our resident war mongers trying to drum up fear and try and provoke something, possibly regime change in Iran.
