going quasi-kosher
« on: June 19, 2006, 01:06:17 PM »
ive recently started separating the meat and dairy in my diet because it just doesnt seem to digest as smoothly when you put them together (cheese on burgers, milk with any meat at breakfast, etc.)  one of my old roommates was israeli and he always advocated this but i always told him to F off, but i think he might be right.

you guys might want to substitute avocado on the burger instead of cheese next time, it tastes good and i always feel better afterwards.....better nutritional content too

the kosher reason is religous rather than digestion.

my roommate knows im not jewish and could care less about those reasons...he wasnt out to convert me, he was advocating it purely for the digestion issue.
