Honestly, I'd say Brady is tougher than Manning. The guy was never a star in college and he's had to fight for everything he's achieved. Manning was put into a great situation as far as offensive weapons go and it was only recently that Brady got some real offensive weapons to work with. That said, Brady did have a better D behind him when he started. My point: skilled offensive players can take a lot of heat off a QB and Manning has had those plus really good offensive lines throughout his whole career. Also, lets not forget that Manning has thrown teammates under the bus in the media on multiple occasions.
Manning is one of the greatest ever, there is no doubt about it. Manning and Brady are good friends and they hang out all the time. As I've said, I live a few blocks from Brady in the back bay and I've seen him out on Newbury with Manning when he comes to town. Both guys are all time greats.
