They look tasty. Whats the recipe?
for the cookies...
mix these together:
1 cup butter (softened)
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1.25 cups brown sugar
1-2 teaspoons vanilla
in another bowl, mix these together
2.25 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
after you mix the butter, eggs, and sugar and it becomes homogenous, slowly add the other mixture of flour and stuff to it and mix (add it at 0.5-1 cup at a time) so it doesn't clump and becomes hard to mix...
now, after you mix all that stuff, add some chocolate chips ( i add around half a bag of hersheys semi sweet chips)
oven should be preheated at 400 F... use some non stick baking pans and lay out the dough on it (teaspoon size balls of the dough if you want them small, and leave about an inch radius around them, or if you want them the same size as the pic i posted use a tablespoon full of dough and leave around 2 inches radius around the balls)... bake for 6-8 minutes only
now, when you take them out, they won't look done and will be really soft... don't sweat it... if you leave them in longer they'll be as cruchy as hell... what i do to keep the moisture and make them chewy and in tact is i immediately put them in the freezer for 5 minutes. they become perfect after that...
for the frosting...
mix 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1/2 cup softened butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
... once you mix those, add 4 cups of powdered sugar... add it one cup at a time and mix.
the frosting will be a bit hard... so add 3 tbsp of milk to it and mix... if it doesn't soften up and become fluffy, add more milk (1 tbsp at a time) until it becomes fluffy...
after the cookies cool down, just slap some frosting on them and make a cookie sandwich...
